Where is the content?

I have had my eye on this game back since before beta. However, I just got into the game this past weekend. So far, I really enjoy it. Since my only toon is level 11, I have not experienced this yet. However, a lot of my guild mats say the #1 issue for this game is lack of content. My question for you guys is there any word on when and what new content is coming down the line. I am assuming (you know what happens when you assume) we will get "something" when the game officially launches on the consoles.

One reason that I am thinking to justify the lack of content update is b/c of the relaunch. As we all know that 1st release of this game was trash and it never got it self fixed. The devs decided (which is amazing in its self) to relaunch the game. Most of their time and energy before and since seems to be taken up updating and introducing new systems into the game. Not sure if this is a justification for the lack of content updates but it could be part of the reason. Thoughts?

Well, seeing as you're still leveling I wouldn't worry about lack of content.
There are effectively at least 500 hours of gameplay ahead of you.

I have yet to play any good game that's fun to play where the #1 issue has not been "content". There has been a bit of drought recently. But they are working on new stuff. Hopefully we'll get some timeline which I think is the bigger problem.

Yup Zenimax have turned their backs on the Veteran players and are only focusing on the new players that are coming in. There haven't been a new end game content update for like 6-7 months.
And there probably won't be any new content until like 1-2 months after console release. So yeah... maybe in like 3 months we will start to see new things, which is just ridiculous.
Champion and justice system does not really count since it does not provide any new end game content.

There's only a lack of content if you've already played the game for a year. I have something like 7 days total play time and am only just now VR5? I probably have another 7 days (or more) of playtime before I hit VR14. Then there's PvP and PvE. I think for someone just starting out there's tons of content for you to do.

If you don't do WoW power leveling rush, there is more than enough content to play through.

I've been playing since the welcome back weekend. I was overwhelmed by the amount of things you could do. I am still only level 20... been pickpocketing, became a vampire... lol respected twice already trying to find the best place to put my skills while I level.... Love the game! I dont see any lack yet... lol

I was mostly targeting end game. As some leveling, I agree there is a TON of stuff to do. However, when I finally get up there, I dont want to see the game (like sooo many before it) become a ghost town at the end game. I am planning on PvPing rather than focusing on PvE so I would think that could have more longevity.

thats what hapens when a game goes f2p/b2p... nothing important new, they forgot about pc players, its outrageous to say you focus on console release... its a polite way to say pc players arent important for us so much as before and we dont rly give a ... about them atm, i supose they forgot about who was here from day 1 and payed for this game. im dissapointed.

I think the point we're trying to make is that unless you are intentionally flying through the content, you don't have to worry about this. Imperial City is coming out around August. If you're level 11 and questing as normal, you will have plenty of content to do before the next content is released.

you're level 20... most of the people complaining about lack of content are vr14 several times over.

yeah, actually get to level 50 and realize that this game has very little actual content.

There won't be any new updates till sometime after consoles is what has been said so fall or winter expect major updates at the earliest is what is expected

It's one thing to not enjoy the content and another entirely to claim there is none. There is a massive amount of content in this game. Whether or not you enjoy it is another question (and not the one at hand).

You can find the new content by pressing on the crown button thingie at the top of your screen.

Enjoy.

At the initial launch, I created 8 characters and continued playing as if i were still in the beta. I didn't renew my membership after the second month due to the bot issues and mail spam. Returning a year later and seeing how things have improved, I can finally revert to my TES playstyle and enjoy the game.

I play ridiculously lethargic and can spend countless hrs where others spend a few minutes. I am accustom to only spending points IF he or she needs survivalbility or his personality profile dictates he undergoes such advancements or the game environment allows for reasoning to do so. My newest character has logged ~10-15 hrs and hit level 8 last night. He has yet to spend a single attribute or skill point.

Reaching any veteran level is not necessarily within my scope of overall gameplay. Heavily RPing all my characters, I play no differently than any other TES installment. I look towards replay value and so far, I see familiarities that should allow that. Given that mindset, I further see an average completion of 500 hrs extend well into the Ks. Skyrim alone, has absorbed 6K+ hrs of my limited lifespan.

I doubt I live long enough to experience all of the current content.

Quit whining, they are a business, with a big release coming up for consoles. Don't talk about things you don't understand, from a technical OR business standpoint. Makes sense to focus on the final release on consoles, remember, they have our money just as they got yours. Deal with it for a few months, or take a break.
