Great vid man, you're always a tough fight... really enjoy it. Makes me want to unretired my Templar and give him a whirl again.

EDIT- It just goes to show that if you really learn your class and test out all the different play styles of your build then no class is truly under powered.

LOL He used all of what? 4 Templar abilities? Purify, channeled focus, repentance and javelin. So, sure; as long as you use rally and vamp for your heals, you don't even need that big Templar heal.

He's playing a class without Cloak, Streak or cheesmode DK Ultimates. I'd say cut the guy some slack of achieving something most never will.

Exmplarary use of Vamp skills to compliment class weaknesses and superb use of line of sight and the mitigation advantages associated with mist form.

    Very enjoyable to watch.

I wasn't saying anything about the OP. Actually, I was saying pretty much what you said about the class. Probably a little overreaction to the learning your class part. It has a lot less knowing templar to me and more about a player working a lot harder than he would had he been another class.

I'm going to say this is probably the most impressive gameplay regarding synergistic use of skills and classes I have seen in a long time. Templars are supposedly not designed to have the burst and mobility showcased here and the OP deserves kudos for showing why the ESO can be such a great game.
Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

what video were you watching ? i think we can all agree the guys very skillfull. but his burst is pityfull compared to anyone using frags WB or snipe.

what this clearly shows is that to have any reasonable amount of survival using a templar you need to sacrifice a huge amount of burst to do it.

he's got 16k hp and no shield on his bars. thats one shot for snipe WB or frags. he has skills to avoid getting hit by them but we dont see one land the whole time. as ive said before due to his skills and his use of the keep to provide cover to break LOS. in the open hes very likely to be gibbed lots.

and burst wise i didnt see any burst that was even remotely approaching what even a semi geared NB could produce easily. or a couple of light overloads and freecast frags would reach.

so this guys good . but the same played using an NB or sorc to the same capacity would be in a diffrent ballpark in terms of burst with more survivability thrown in.

I think you're overreacting because nobody said anything about "learning the class" other than you. It says a lot when you type something like that out when no one has actually said those things lol.

So... the problem is he can't burst because he isn't using nonclass specific skills? Remind me again not to ever take anyone's opinion on this forum seriously.

Nice video. After watching it, I came up to a conclusion. EU players are so obsessed with Fear, Fossilise, Luminous Shards and all those stuff that you cannot block or dodge.

Same thing in NA haha. Even if he did take it he probably has the resources to break or roll/dodge.
    EDIT: Chill music btw.

Probably. But that would be matter of seconds to die for him after taking fear and some random hard hitting ability with a 16k health. I mean how much time it takes to use fear and soul harvest with animation cancelling? 0.5 seconds maybe? Or even a genius could use couple undodgeable flame whips to send him Sovngarde. I didnt see any of those abilities^^

That kind of action is so rare I guess. Like being in the perfect place in perfect time. But lets be honest, he's a smart player. Perfectly using the landscape and his enemies weakness for own victory. And that crazy reactions... Well played.

Also I dont see any point to templar being such powerful. It is just the player not the class itself.
There are just 3 class passives to synergise with the build. Balanced Warrior, Piercing Spear and Burning Light occasionally (when in the bow bar, which it isn't his main dps bar thus passives are mostly useless in this case). And 4 skills Repentance, Focus, Purify and Javelin. All of them just help to sustain a bit more, not doing any miracles.

With my connection, as long as there is no lag, and I'm not experiencing latency (practically, whenever there isn't a large population, usually all for those of us in the states, Aussie time), CC break and roll dodging and or blocking is definitely achievable. Maybe this is different for some other guys, I know it definitely is for those that can run maybe 200 ping at best.

Yeah, concealed weapon spammer or a whip spammer probably would have shortened the video a little haha.

I personally agree that trying to use an example of Templars not being underpowered by showing a stamina build is a little misleading. His skills compliment his build well, but it's a whole other story for magicka dps based templars, which is a stark representation of current underpowered builds..and to be honest, has been pretty low tier since release.

    Rolldodge monkey best class!

Well played man, this kinda highlights why its best to play a selfish stamina build and dont bother with trying to run as a group/slot any group synergy abilities.

If one did play as a group you fall victim to the larger group size instantly wins. (They dont let you run behind a corner as a team, but instead roll over you until you wipe)

Anyway, many more things could be said QQQQQQQ

Good job and well played <3
