The reward and loot structure is the #1 invisible problem of this game.
Alandrol Sul: He's making another Numidium?!?
Vivec: Worse, buddy. They're buying it.

thats not really the problem, the problem is now we have not seen new content in 8 months, that means everyone have had 8 months to get their gear, that means end-game gear slowly becomes obsolete more and more each day.

and the prices of those gear goes either down each day, or just sits in guild traders because people still think they can sell erm for those prices even though they aint rare anymore.

Just check a few of these

    footman vr14 ring
ring of the healer v14 ring

the traders have 100s of them.

If you really wanna make real gold, you will have to wait for the new map, and hope there really are something worth farming and go for it.

I agree, yes a big issue is the market is flooded with all the loot we can get from DSA. However I also belive the master weapons do not stand out. In only a few cases "that I know of" have they actually been an upgrade to someones build. DSA, trials and vet dungeons gear should be clear upgrades, not compromises.

@Huggernaut I hate not having the feeling that every critter I kill, big or small, has the chance to drop something amazing.

Always the first thing that comes to mind when I see people make posts complaining about dungeons / farming / etc.

With all the best gear coming from either crafting, or pvp, basically almost everything else (minus the 2 piece sets & to a lesser extent master weapons of course), is automatic vendor trash. This is a big part of why I dislike crafting generally speaking. I'd much rather be out hunting the wee beasties on some grand adventure, then sitting around town rummaging in my pack for materials.

Also, It's like currently, nothing really matters in the game except what happens in Cyrodil. If you are doing anything else anywhere in the world, you're just wasting your time basically. This is where you get all the best gear, this is where you make tons of gold (selling pvp gear). Also since PvP rank isn't account wide (it should be) players are forced to grind pvp levels on every new alt. Which artificially inflates the market even more so.

    This is wrong.

As the game is more and more neglected (almost non-existent update schedule currently), more time ticks by, the more everything gets thrown askew because we have no gold sinks, thus nothing to really spend money on, not even gear. So the very few pieces of gear that does drop, and is worth trading has sent the prices into the stratosphere.

Thus more people are forced into Cyrodil to stay competitive in PvE, even if they aren't huge PvP fans. Which causes lag, farm servers, etc.

I could go on, but I am sure you are seeing a pattern emerging.

Everything matters. We can't just be promoting PvP, or PvE. We can't just be worried about guilds, or traders, or auction houses, or player homes, or items in the crown store, etc. Everyone likes to think that whatever topic is nearest and dearest to their own heart, is the most important. We need to change our thinking, see the machine for the giant multi-cog lumbering behemoth that it is and realise that everything is interconnected.

So please @ZOS_ (anyone that has any juice, heck even kool-aid would be acceptable at this time!), let's stop trying to fit a round peg (PvE MMO) into a square hole (PvP MMO) and instead lets focus on making every part of the game as enjoyable as possible to as many people as possible. (Can't make everyone happy all the time, this should be a given).

    Cheers.

Sounds to me you guys are bored with a lot of the pve content like me. I just started pvp about 3 months ago and rarely do PvE only when needed to help someone out. Join a good pvp guild that runs a lot you just might like it.

I am even slowly slowly, getting bored of the PVP content which is the thing I enjoy the most about the game. It seems a fruitless, rewardless endevour, and it has also seen literally no love since the games beginning, with the only content added being PVE.

Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy PVP, but everyday I enjoy it a little less, due to the brokenness of it, including lag, a sub-par scoring system, no new or interesting content, very limited chance at worthwhile rewards, most of the afore mentioned worthwhile rewards not even really being worthwhile, and little incentive or reason to make me want to compete aside from the fact that, yes, the combat itself is still fun.

I will keep playing for as long as the combat is still fun to me, but without anything keeping me around or any other incentives or reasons, it is getting a bit harder, and without any new content, the "funness" will wear out eventually.
