Motifs are a style, nothing to do with equipment type. It would apply to any and all crafted items. As for buying it, never from the Crown $tore. I already know that with patience and constant checking of containers during normal game play the odds are good of finding even rare motifs. On the other hand, I have over 2 million gold, I could probably afford to buy one. Only way I'd ever spend money on it would be if a modder did it...or Zenimax hired a modder and let them put their ideas/work into the game, because the people currently doing the armor and weapon graphics are....well, to put it nicely...incompetent. (At least according to MY sense of aesthetics.)I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
3) Difficulty slider.
4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.0 -

mtwiggz✭✭✭✭✭I would love to see all of the armor from previous TES games available in ESO. At least the ones that make sense to include. As Dragon Armor wouldn't make sense to include as that part of the TES lore has not yet happened, etc.
Though including them in the Crown Store is inevitable, I would rather them give players an option to first be able to find it in game. Honestly since the release of motifs into the Crown Store I have yet to see any motifs drop other than the blue faction race motifs. Slight stealth nerf to motif drop rates? Your guess is as good as mine.1 -

Ok, now that that is out of my system, Yes please, not having Glass armor was a big negative first impression when I first started ESO in Beta.
And, it is my understanding that in Skyrim Glass armor was considered a Heavy armor that was actually very light. So my vote is that it is either all 3, or an exclusive heavy armor style.As a casual player I was satisfied that at one point I had a char max level and near max crafting with almost all motifs and I pretty much lost interest. Then ESO discovered DLC's and now my main is just a wanabe and I am happily pulled back into the game.1 -
