Questions from a pvp noob

Ok I have a VR4 toon but I just started doing PvP in the last week or so (I tried it before but was basically just cannon fodder until now)
Can you pick up a siege weapon once you deploy it, or are they deploy once and gone forever?
What is the progression of ranks? For example I know you go from Volunteer to Recruit, and I know there are Tyros, Sergeants, etc ... but what order are they?
As a stamina based, DK, Tank, 2 handed build, what are my best options for my weapon slots? I have also started using a bow for ranged attacks, are they even viable in Pvp, or should I just abandon that?

✭You can pick up siege after it has reloaded by pressing X.

All two handed will have the same stats but there is a passive in the skill line that gives you a buff depending on your choice of two handed weapon. It depends on what you're trying to do with your build as to which on will be best for you. Bow is a viable weapon in PVP.[DC/NA]1 -

lol no that was a mistake from a long time ago... First are the chevron ranks, like sergeant, they go up to 17 I think it is... then the box ranks like captain/major, go up to 26... then moon ranks like tribune/prefect, then at 37 come the star ranks starting with a 3 point star for August palatine. 50 is 5 stars for grand overlord.2013

Beesting✭✭✭✭Tip for you, don't go into houses towers etc when enemies are inside, you will die. Just walk off and do something else.
If you use search and type ap farming you will get an idea what pvp is (really) about
