The absurdity of those tooltips on the recap amuses me.
They should add some more relevant ones to the tooltips. Here are some examples:
"Sometimes when Camo Hunter Procs on Focused Aim from Stealth it gives such a ridiculous burst that the game doesn't even include it in the recap."
"When you run into a zerg spamming Vigor and Steel Tornado, try forcing PUGs to get into your TeamSpeak so that you can have enough people spamming AoEs more closely to counter it."
"If you're a Templar, try becoming a Vampire so that you actually have some sort of escape."

i bet you set a build to tank, right?
i bet you set a build to tank, right?
I have no idea what you're saying, sorry. If you're asking if I'm a tank, then no, if I was I couldn't kill anyone fast enough in Elder Burst Kill Online. I do however often wear 5/7 heavy armor, and then I only get sniped for 15K + 7K Camo Hunter from stealth. Sounds good right?
I'm actually thinking about going with a full out stealth gank build just to *** people off as much as possible so that maybe, just maybe, ZOS will fix something for once. Sadly it is just too *** boring.

there is a sound before snipe hits you: hold block

Sometimes, sometimes there isn't. Plus the noskill lolsnipers that do this usually wait until you're already in a fight with someone else, because they are too afraid that you will fight back.
Edit: Just so you're aware, you can't educate me on this. Trust me, I know what there is to know about the mechanics of these skills, sounds and counters. If you think that it's fun that fights end in an avg. of 3,4 seconds - you're entitled to your opinion. I don't find that fun at all and I will continue complaining about this until it's either fixed or I quit the game.

LOL. Some of these NBs....
I tried playing on my Sorc last night to use up a days worth of enlightenment. First death > Fear, I instantly broke yet all of my abilities were still greyed out. Died. Second death, magnum shot stunned for full duration with 100% stamina couldn't break free> dead. Third death Instagibbed from stealth Lethal arrow for 16K. Fourth death ganked on my horse....took me 2 seconds to dismount(lol) by the time I dismounted with 30% health the only ability that worked was overload light attacks (couldn't even shield) > dead.
Each and every time I died my weapon swap was broken and I couldn't transit until I facerolled my keyboard for awhile and of course....stuck in combat.. Said screw it I'm going to BWB to play on my NB.
Had some fun wrecking sorcs for awhile then feared through the world and called it a night.
PvP is just a joke any more. It's all about instagibbing people and spamming CC until you bug it out any more. You spend 95% of your time doing things you hate, are frustrating or are boring for the 5% of time that you're actually doing.
I guarantee I'm not going to be waiting around for them to fix this game if they ever do. 4+ months of PvP with broken traits, lag, bugs and PvE that hasn't had an real addition in what 6-8 months? Complete lack of real communication from the dev team on anything of importance. Has there ever been an MMO with a track record this bad?
I like the stealth-based, short-TTK gameplay.
I may be alone in this, or at least in the minority, but I find it tense, tactical and fun. It's like the genre of FPS games where one bullet will probably kill you, so you have to play with caution at all times. All the more so as I know that I can adjust my build and my behavior to impact my own TTL, if I need to.
Obviously, many folks differ. There's a whole range of MMO PvP ranging from E-Sport/ Arena/ BG's to the glorious mess of 'tactical warfare simulation, sorta' represented by Cyrodiil. Speaking solely for myself, 90% of my issues with Cyrodiil would vanish if the servers could handle the population.

Additionally it seems pretty clear that ZOS thinks all players will play with weird hybrid builds with tons of health, like BBW stats 28/17/17.. when it comes down to balancing changes. When in reality everyone will run 17/40/9 and two shot people instead..

You are not alone mate, I come from a strong FPS/Strategy gaming background, or Splinter Cell style games, and in HC mode its better IMO, and to play in softcore or noobcore as I call it, is less skillful, as in FPS games, one bullet can kill you, and to play with skill and caution, instead of spraying.
Just a question of adapting game behaviour and build to a ever dynamic combat setting.
And agreed on the servers being able to handle population and as much of a stable gaming experience as possible server side.

If they don´t have a way to kill you in a matter of seconds, how should they be able to kill you at all if a simple block or shield is already enough?
Just saying.. even if i don´t like this snipe oneshot thing.

Dying or killing with 1 hit is not skill. This is an MMO. Go play FPS please.
