Question about transfer to ps4

Hi guys was thinking about doing that transferr to ps4 thing for 20.00 but had a couple questions, how exactly does it work I know it puts a copy on your ps4 when its available but do I have to buy the game again? or how does that work?

✭The $20 is for an electronic copy of the game on your console of choice and the copy of your characters so that you can play them independently on both PC and console from the date of the copy do you do not need to buy the game again on console if you take up the $20 offer. Essentially for $20 you will own two copies of the game with your characters the same as at the date of the copy (going forward they will be independent of each other with progress on one not affecting the other).

At least I'll still have my main character on both, though it sucks that I'll have to start progressing them independently. I'll definitely miss the add-ons on the PS4 side (particularly Research Assistant and Skyshards). I like the built-in voice chat, though (though I wish they had included optional text chat too).
