It can be done, as was shown in WOW with stat squishing. I'm sure they will proceed with due care no matter which approach is used.

A lot of players are leaving in the VR grind. This is bad fo the B2P model because it means less long term investment by players, and thus less incentive to buy cosmetics/convenience. The current VR system gots to go, but that doesn't mean that endgame progression has to disappear. Just that it will take less time and be less "on-rails"

I, too, look forward to the flood of feedback that will drown this forum when the console version comes out. I cant imagine the console crowd will have a much different opinion than the rest of us. Plus, without text chat, where else will they vent?

yeah.. as if their going to remove veteran ranks and 66% of the storyline (cadwell silver & gold) for some few lazy people who thought 1-50 was so easy and VR1-VR14 was so horrible

LOL If you think they will remove vet ranks you are so mistaken. 80% of teso's community are vet 12-14 ranks and they struggled just like me to make it there. We will never allow it. Plus as one guy said , 60% of the story will go wasted. What they gonna do is tweak vet ranks something like 80-90 level cap
I am most concerned with how they intend to do it with armour/weapons... I can see the outcry if v14 weapons/armour that people have used a lot of resources on crafting, suddenly became unusable...
