I guess the benefit of playing late nights is I don't see too much latency on the campaigns I play on. (Blackwater Blade and Haderus).

Even during peak hours with all three factions pop locked Blackwater NA runs pretty smooth, well at least compared to the alternatives. I recommend that anyone seeking a less frustrating pvp experience roll a new character and give it a try.

I know one thing and that is I'm not logging in until they do something about it, but by the time they've actually done something about it everyone will be 1000+ champion points ahead of me so there wont be any point bothering with this game anyway.

It's a joke, all campaigns are lagged, full with people and can barely find any decent fights anymore. Dueling is not an option either, we're lagging all the time in the evening, we can only duel early in the morning I guess. ZOS please give us instanced pvp and an arena ASAP.

You can fix it by hitting the Cancel Subscription button and deleting your CC info on the account page. Make sure you explain why when you get the survey email.


If your experience is still unsatisfactory and you are a Windows 7 user, go to Control Panel then click Uninstall a Program, select Elder Scrolls Online and choose remove. That's what I did and my SSD has never be happier.

I would suggest that EU get more Campaigns, but for some reason they have to have the same Campaigns on each server. It would be cool if they could have a different number, and different names, on each server.

You remember how an "error occured" in their update process for one server and they just closed scourge on both...

Yesterday was exceptionally bad at Thornblade EU. We tried to fight back against a blue zerg, but that group stood close together spamming meteors and other spells somewhere in the landscape and the server lagged EVERYWHERE. Finally I "spread out" as was suggested... I went to a dolmen, solo. No otherplayer was there, but the fight against the few npcs there as laggy as hell. Conclusion: spreading out doesn't help at all.
As far as I can see, there are two things fueling these spikes: first, networking. With that bot and cheat fix back around update 1.2, the double check of everything the clients sent made things really bad. There are other possibilities to prevent hacking of clients and network traffic: do memory checks with hash and checksums and kick dubious clients. Use some secure network protocols with security tokens to prevent fake packets. The second aspect is that cleints obviously don't check for magicka/unltimate usage anymore. Therefore for example you can cast meteors in rapid succession as long as the server doesn't catch up. Stop that and a lot of stress will go away.

They don't even send out those emails any longer, because unsubscribing is no longer the same as quitting. What they should do is send out surveys to people who haven't played for, say, a month, and ask them why they lost interest in the game. But I guess they already know why people are leaving. The problems are pretty obvious.
