Sure, for the healz. Its a random slot. You could use anything. Maybe evil hinter/camouflage hunter

i´m using (if i´m going stamina wich is horrible none the less )
1.head and shoulders med guardian - as the reg as a stamina user is horrible on a sorc the refill sphere is in desperate need as i think
2. 3x air - stamina reg for teh win
3. 3x dreugh king - for the dmg
4. 2x shadow walker stam version for the stamina base value + weapon dmg
5. 2h hammer/bow masterweapon

1&5 can be substituted by 1piece blood spawn + a set of your preference or 3 pieces nights silence (wich i prefer)

skill wise i´m completly unhappy havent found any composition so far that satisfies me.

overload is a good idea, i didnt think of that for getting more skills to use

Recently swapped from stamina sorc to pure magicka. Ran into many of OP's same problems. Sorc just isn't synergizing well with stamina builds in 1.6. The only thing I see missing from the line up is having bound armaments on the bar. It does help with weapon dmg.

i think mobility is the only strength to stam sorc so i have to maximize that until i figure out how to evade damage and build to do some damage

The thing about stamina sorcerer is you aren't playing a class at that point. You are making a generic husk of weapons skills with maybe 1 or 2 class skills that are buffs that can be replaced by generic armor and weapon skills instead. The only unique thing a stamina sorcerer has is bound armaments, and that requires 2 slots to break even with other physical damage buffs other classes get as passives for no slot investment. At high CP levels years from now I'm sure bound armaments will be fantastic, but right now it is not scaling nearly as well as I thought it would. Who wants to play weapon person #2427173271 when you can do so on another class with better passives and actual class skills?


I actually have a build that uses heavy attacks but it is almost fully magicka based. The trick is using the undaunted infiltrator set. It's is a bit limited in it's melee actions but can still let you get physical while using all your class skills. It is based off my old build in tamerial foundry, but has gone over a lot of fixes. I use a completely different stat split and a lot more cp now.

I cleaned it up now so it's mostly up to date. I left out how it's played and different skills that can be subbed in. I'll touch it up later It's what I'll be sticking to until the next content patch hits and real stamina options are available.

Pretty much this. Streak/BOL + crit charge (or shield charge I suppose) can get you around the battlefield in a hurry. Shuffle is the best thing I have found to evade damage.

Stam Sorc is basically a Weapon skill + Shuffle + Alliance War Skill + Streak/BoL build. You will probably find that your Achilles heel is stam regen, although Air set, Shadow Walker to an extent, and others do mitigate that. But its tough to build for burst damage (especially w/o WB) while keeping sustain up. Ravager and Engine Guardian are other good sets.

As most have said Stam sorc doesn't rely on many class skills. Boundless storm is the best Stam sorc skill then streak/Bol to create space. Dark deal can be used to reset yourself for more fighting. Restraining prison is good skill too but is definitely a poor Stam sorc's talons.

I'll post my solo build of you are interested in something a bit more tanky.

This build is a reincarnation of my ravaging healer build. . . tear, resto staff scaling off wpn dmg you are missed . . . Since the ravaging set gives a huge weapon power bonus (+600 wpn pwr) and I wanted to be a bosmer (+21% stam regen) bow sorc when I started the game, the build focuses on wpn pwr and stam regen.

Attributes: 0 Magicka, 10 Health, 52 Stamina

Mundus: The Tower
Infliction: Vampire (Werewolf makes more sense, +15% stam regen VS. +10% stam and mag regen, but I wanted to keep bats for my solo build)

Gear:
Head: Bloodspawn Helm: Heavy, sturdy (ew, I know), Stamina
Shoulders: Bloodspawn Arm Corps: Medium, Divines, Stamina
Hands: Bracers of the Air: Medium, Divines, Stamina
Legs: Ravaging Greaves: Heavy, Impenetrable, Stamina
Chest: Ravaging Cuirass: Heavy, Impenetrable Stamina
Waist: Belt of the Air: Medium, Divines, Stamina
Feet: Boots of the Air: Medium, Infused, Stamina

Skills to think about: (bound armaments, restraining prison, Immovable brute, evil hunter, Daedric minefield, velocities curse, proxi det)

Keep in mind I can streak 3 times consecutively. So if you are coming from the Ball of Lightning sorc meta, there will be a bit of a learning curve. Escaping is more about roll dodging, elude, and boundless storm, never streaking in rapid succession unless truly necessary.

I've tried really hard to make my build synergies with my class and race. I'm starting to feel more comfortable with it after changing to clouding swarm to take advantage of the 10% bonus damage while in stealth for Bosmer.

I might be more effective as a dk, nb or temp but I still wouldn't be as mobile. Streak, boundless storm, elude, crit charge; it just plays so fast and fun, and, like ressing in ppl's faces, hitting rally+vigor+Shuffle+Batswarm+DArk deal equals full health and Stam and an angry enemy.
