Do you think 'MAGICKA' Templars are weak in PvP?

I consider myself a good player, yet couldn't do anything against a Magicka Nightblade. His attacks were more powerful, he had more Magicka resources it seemed and even my most powerful attacks just tickled him.

First of all, start explaining wy you think MagTemp is weak in 1v1.
Cause attacks hit for less than other classes. We run out of magicka quicker than other classes and our only 'Nuke' (Dark Flare) has a cast time. That's only a bit of the entire puzzle.May knowledge guide you to enlightenment0 -

✭✭✭✭✭You are going to attract different votes because templar is the king of support classes. It won't be popular to Templars who feel relegated to that duty, but to others they feel fine. Some will admit that Templars are the easiest kill, but in a group setting where they are well protected or can slip behind some allies its not so much the case.
So as a Templar; yes, skills have been removed like blinding flashes that I wish I had back; or nerfed and the weird GCD and delays I see on the templar compared to to other classes tell me they are not in a great place but if I just stick to the role that they excel at, healing and support; well...sometimes I think it is partly my own fault for the poor decision in class.1 -

Don't worry so much, any thread made whether poll or not attracts trolls.
I didn't vote because my magicka temp is only level 39, so its too hard to say at this point if shes weak or not. Sometimes I kill and feel like a God, others I get my booty handed to me. Just depends on the situation. When she hits Vet ranks with her, I will then feel able to say whether or not shes any good lol!
Also, maybe this guy you fought is just awesome with his class. Some people really know how to use their skills to the fullest and others don't. Don't base off one fight with one guy, keep trying and if you still feel super weak, look into changing some things up.
