Noone knows any numbers. And I'm against a single server, alone for ping (especially in PvP) reasons.
usually the american way is " if it doesn't affect me , who cares?"

1.unlike wow where blizzard would show all the numbers with pride
I dont think ZOS wants to atm maybe wait for console to pick up as im sure the numbers are low.
2. There is a point to the 2 servers bud because of lag you should know that lol.

I think ZOS should combine the two megaservers so both servers can have a better population, the more players the more social interactions (the whole point of MMOs over Single Player games).
The poll reads 50/50 so I assume the populations are.... even? poll voters where are you gettin your data?

but it does affect us, the more players in ESO, the higher the population, and the better / more fun the game.

No, just no...
It would be horrendously over populated, PvP queuing would be a nightmare, (as priority queuing for some bizarre reason is not included to subs, way to go Zeni...).
And the latency would be even more horrific
Farming nodes would be hotly contested, the reasons go on against....
Just saying...

The only valid reason you give is Latency, everything else is just your opinion.
ESO would benefit from being more populated, right now its underpopulated. The whole point of an MMO is to interact with other players. If people don't want to be close and interactive with other people in Elder Scrolls Online, they shouldn't be playing Elder Scrolls Online. They should go play Elder Scrolls Offline (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim) instead.
I'm not accusing you of being antisocial, but anti social players should not play an MMO, where the whole point of an MMO is to play and interact with others.

The only reasonable answer for me would be "europe", at its best "germany" :-)
...so think again.

Not really. The idea isn't that social interaction is mandatory. It's more that social interaction is available if players choose to interact. If everything in this game required you to be in a group, like for questing, ESO's Tamriel would become a very empty place.
Many of the current EU players have had experience with the megaserver being based in Texas at launch. They constantly complained about latency and disconnects. Doubt they'd like it much if it went back to that system. As a U.S. player, I know I wouldn't want the megaserver to be moved to Germany. So unless ESO was in danger of being shut down, two smaller separate communities are better than one consolidated community located additional thousands of miles away.
