I wouldn't likely be down for the marketplace idea. The mirror image concept seems a bit far fetched. I think it would be better served improving upon the concept of Eyvea and building a neutral city there where all's safe. Access to the city would then come after a character has unlocked it through the mages guild quest line. /[color]

Aaah did not know you worked for ZOS now.
Tell me why are you not working on fixes or updates but instead hassling people who only want to share an idea lol.

its called common sense and seeing what MMOs devs do. there has NEVER been an MMO that has actually listened to is its players on the forums for new features, especially not for something like this. So, unless you think your single idea is the one that will break over ten years of status quo, this is simply not going to happen unless they already had this planned, which is unlikely.

It sounds like your saying:
Common sense dictates that ZOS does not care about feedback and ideas
And we are only wasting our time on the forums because in an mmo you do as your told and get what your given.
I dont know about you but thats a pretty silly way of looking at games.
An mmo just like any other game will always listen to feedback and apply the information to there game.

they DON"T care about feedback or idea's i thought that was obvious in the first place.......
secondaly, no what i am saying is that idea's from people on the forums are NEVER implementted in ANY MMO, EVER. please name one MMO where a MAjor idea from someone on the forum was added simply because of the supposrt around it on the forums.

Well eso is the first game i was happy to come into the forums because of the potential.
But i have to ask why would they not care?
Because feedback is a necessity in video games and if you dont listen it will die.

not even WOW tends to listen to teh forum idea's, so yeah, your whole "they HAVE to listen or die" mentality does not work.
They would not care because it is not as easy to change MMO's as some people believe, and some of the changes or featiures people are asking for on the forums would be incredibly hard, if not impossible to code afte teh game has already been finsihed.
they might also undnerstand aspects of what would happen if it WAS released that some people refuse to realize. for example, the reason there is classes is to allow people to actually have choices instead of everyone choosing the same abilities. they seem to understand that is EXACTLY what would happen, even when there are so many players on this forum who belive you are stupid to actually like any kind of classes in this game.
And then there is simply "it does not fit with the way they designed the game and the way they envisioned it", which is something A LOT of people do not seem to understand. They had an idea for this game, a vision, and are not going to add something that interferes with that simply because a small portion of the playerbase wants it, they believe that it is better for the game without it.

Not sure on the rest though. Player housing would be better spread out, so you could pick what kind of area you'd like cosmetically. Small scale pvp is what people have been trying to get forever. It might come eventually, buy it doesn't need to be tied into this. Could be set in it's own realm of oblivion. The marketplace one goes against the idea of guild stores. They don't want a central selling point, and this creates one.
AN alternate version of the Imperial City is cool though. Coldharbour kinda sorta has that. Well, ok, all I remember is the bridge, and some dark hallways in game. Maybe it could be expanded into a full city? Or we could just expand Meridia's City into this.
Or like a thousand other ideas, using the "It's a realm of oblivion by itself!" as a general lore excuse. You can basically get away with anything with that line. Fanfic writers probably do. It's just too tempting.
