Maintenance for the week of April 6:

I need some help.

KevinBrits
Since i don't know if it will ever happen.. i'll just ask.. whats the best way to grind up 1-14 VR? I'm new to this game and i don't like the quests at all. I just like the gameplay (PvE/PvP) and the beautiful athmosphere but thats about it. So personally i like to grind but i don't know if thats possible. XP/Hour wise VS just regular questing.

Any thoughts?

what do you mean, 1-vr14? do you mean from level 1 to VR14? in whic case, quests are the ONLY way you are getting teh 50 level's. if you are only talking about VR 1-14, then not sure, heard Cyrodiil is the easiest.

Also, just saying, if you do not like quests, MMOs, and more RPGs, are simply not for you.

I'm level 49 now. And i'm talking about grinding from VR1 to VR14 PvE wise. (just grinding mobs)

Also since you like questing doesn't mean everybody likes questing. Your statement is lame and ignorant. There are thousand of other things to do in a MMO which can trigger people play them.
Yes i don't like the quests in this particularly game since it's just a drag and not fast paced like; Kill x Amount of this (AKA WoW style, which i prefer)
But i do play MMO's cause i like to craft new items, explore the world, doing Dungeons, Raids, mini games/encounters, PVP and meeting new people etc etc.

And i bet i'm not the only one who feels like this.

PVP, Craglorn and Undaunted pledges seems the way to go for you.

Vet dungeons, Cyrodiil dungeons, Some mobs in quest areas. No specifics because that tends to result in nerfs and or overpopulated grind areas. Good luck though. Many of us feel your pain on this one.

Yeah i don't like this Ranking system at all. It's just that i like the game so much i want to put my effort in it but.. if it wasn't the game was a flop to me ? I probably went to play something else already.

I don't think I'd recommend that. The Craglorn grind has been severely nerfed over time. From what I understand it used to be the fastest way to level in VR, but now it's probably the slowest, as the mobs give far less XP than the mobs in the Cadwell's Silver and Gold zones.

If you're looking to level most effectively through the vet ranks I'd suggest doing the Cadwell's Silver quests (they give decent XP, as well as skill points, and ultimately unlock the Cadwell's Gold zones), skipping the other quests in those zones, and finding a decent grind spot in each Silver zone to grind mobs. When you get to Cadwell's Silver, follow the same formula.

As others have said, clearing the Cyrodiil Dungeons and collecting all the skyshards, the Undaunted pledges (they don't give amazing XP, but they are fun to do).

Also, depending on how starved you are for skill points, you may want to do the main quest lines in Cadwell's Silver (listed in the Almanac) to get Skill Points and to open the way to the Gold zones. You don't have to do them all at once. Just do one quest hub at a time and then go something else you enjoy. It will be done before you know it.

Pretty much this^^^ this a game that revolves around lore story and questing, but hopefully you can find a few other things to your liking, pvp doing the daily kill 20 quests, has helped me, but I noticed you want faster leveling, that might be the biggest problem to over come here.
