One shot should not happen

And that's my opinion. In cyrodiil all players are matched, but anyways people can be one shot. My friend V9 DK full tank have been one shot or at least received a hit of +10k damage, easy more than the half of his life.

Ridiculous if we think that this game is a zerg PvP where after that there are 4 or 5 guys that need only to touch you to finish you.

Make PvP competitive, because this makes me sick, I'm not 18 years old and sit in front of the pc 6 hours every day.

Welcome to my life, @teladoy ... except I am a level 14, and I get one-shotted every time I turn around.

As a non vet char you will have 28-35k hp. So this is the intended amout of health and I'm pretty sure that there is noone who can hit for 30k damage with a single attack. If you choose to have less hp it's your own risk to be killed faster.

I know it is different, but in PvE, I one-shotted a VR9 Daedroth once...which had over 52k health, sooo... <.< Albeit I was using Camouflaged Hunter and it probably proc'd and was critical to do that much damage, so it was one. Lucky. Hit.

But my point is it is very possible to do a crap ton of damage, especially if you go Two Handed and have a lot of armor penetration going, like Sharpened trait and a wealth of points in Piercing in The Ritual constellation.

not the same, NPCs have different armor values and take MUCH more damage then palyers, they also have no defensive abilities to use.

So you are saying that 28 - 35k is the normal health for everyclass at everylevel in cyrodiil right? or 28 - 35k has a VR14 with more than a decent equip?

A nighblade VR 1 - 4 can have 17K around and that means you can be easy one shotted and let's not even talk if your wearing light armor.

My question is, then we should all use heavy armor, put all our points in health and use one hand/ shield?

    Boring...

The true is that is necessary be VR14 and a very good equipment to don't be one shotted and that requires a lot, lot, lot of time.

I'm not talking because I have a big fantasy, is because I have been in cyrodiil, I saw people around in cyrodill and I saw one shots more than frenquently.

Is really disgusting don't have even time to react.

Fight is fun when you fight, not when you one shot or you has been one shotted.

I have been hit once for a heavy attack out of stealth for 22k, Plus camouflaged hunter for another 6 or 7k...
Okay, it was a test hit, the guy had buffs and everything, but still. lol

HOWEVER, one shots are a thing when ganking. welcome to reality. Be aware of your surroundings. (Hold dat block button)

You cannot get hit possibly for over 15k while in actual combat, and that would be a sniper from stealth, as long as you avoid DoTs like the meteor's impact zone, novas, bat swarms, and of course, siege. you can't get hit for more than 8k every hit, and that's a crit from a fully spec'd NB's Surprise Attack.
Lv 10~49 characters have around 28~36k HP, as mentioned, so they are NOT likely to get oneshot'd or even ganked for that matter. Unless there's 2 or 3 gankers, then it's okay, but it's not a 'one shot', it's a ... trishot?

I'm actually under the opinion that the health attribute should be raised automatically with each level. That way only a higher level and armor enchants/food/drink etc. can raise your health beyond that. Players than have the choice of putting the allotted attribute point that is given each level to either Magicka or Stamina.

This way the battle field is a lot more leveled between players. Obviously the enchants etc. plus armor type and weapon choice will effect survivability but players won't be forced to put at least 75% + points into health and would have greater freedom when specializing in Magicka or Stamina.

Edit: And maybe for those that want to invest in some extra health they can chose to further increase their health with the point they get but instead of a 122 increase to Heath stat it only gives an extra 20-30 points. So tanks can have their extra health but others won't be "left behind" or be so unbalanced.

And with this system a VR1 player can probably hold his own against a VR14 player (at least somewhat) cause their health will be a lot closer than what it is now.

Who can do this task, with but only a handful of brave men with courage in their hearts..."

My VR14 Nightblade has around 23-25k health in Cyrodiil depending on if we have emperor. I do not use the three stat buff food, I use three stat buff drink for regen. I have been one shot before. I once received a 25K heavy staff attack from a DK, but I do not know how that was possible.

I do get two shot regularly, before I even have time to react (my ping is pretty terrible in Cyrodiil no matter what I do), which I am not sure how they are doing that either. There is one NB on EP side on my campaign who gets 15K lethal arrows, and 13-14K soul harvests every single time. I've never got LA or soul harvest that high.

I've also seen two crystal fragments kill me(15k a pop), a daedric minefield hit me for 17k, and a killers blade hit me for 15k. I am guessing these people have used some meta like nirnhorned or sharpened bug to achieve these numbers.

this math-issues behind the scenes is one , because i have made up my mind to un-install the game... some formulas i could not help but not accept at all unfortunately... i like many aspects of ESO (art and graphic , also communication ) but, the math is a problem for me (balance too) and pvp-gameplay-conditions... you can't try out builds for instance; also lack of much more defined roles/classes... too much freedom is not good in an MMO (imho) even if it's a sandbox mmo...

the success of Eve online was probably because there were no other better sandbox mmo's.... and toons look very sexy there along with the fashion... that's really great in EVE online

but i would not play that game if i were to be paid 30 Euros a month or more honestly... because of the other reasons...

All of my NBs attribute points are in stamina; I have to disagree with this idea as it would homogenize the battlefield too much. Glass cannons would no longer be glass cannons and tanks would have the same Stamina and Magicka pools as DPS's (save the what? Extra 4k or so from enchants and set bonuses)

i think i know why there is high Critical Chance and high damage in general in Cyrodiil

it's to ensure that there is a good fluctuation during big fights and to ensure someone conquers the objective within a reasonable time... i think that may be a reason too... otherwise, fights would last for ever in Cyrodiil...

In melee sorcs and radiant will get that amount of damage 10-15. Yet once hardenedd ward is down apparently they die in a few hits. This is unacceptable.

PvP in general is a total mess. There's no redeeming it without completely redesigning it...which ZOS will never do. Chalk this thread up to another "may as well be chatting with a wall" thread. It sucks, it's sad, but it's not going to change.

I feel the same way about insta-gib, but all we're doing here is venting about how much it sucks. ZOS will do nothing, as per the norm. MAYBE they'll make some changes in 2016, but don't get your hopes up, nothing will improve for the rest of the year.
