okay so i am fairly new to ESO i played it back in beta and i have come back now. i have leveled a few characters and i am always looking around on the forums for anything. tips, info, builds ect.

i currently feel that the forums have a massive amount of complaining, but for me so far i have had allot of fun playing this game and yes i understand that some things are stronger in PvP than others. honestly i just find a different ways of fighting, if i get killed easily by a NB or DK i think to myself wow he did x,y,z, pretty well maybe if i do this, or that i can fight them better. so thats what i do, i jump back in and take the fight with a different way of fighting.

this is my opinion however as i said i am new and still have allot to experience with the game.

also i have read around, are the vet levels really getting removed?

Yes sir the consensus is that champion points are taking over.
Its not a matter of if they are the real question is when are they putting this plan of theirs into action.

If they have any sense; they'll simply adapt the veteran ranks into something more fit for purpose. With the champion system being phased in now, I don't see any reason why they cant re-develop vet into something else to run along side future systems.

    Time will tell.

It really isnt that strange. They just had a big welcome back push which invited back a bunch of people who had quit. They had reasons they quit, and honestly for a bunch of us those reason are still here, so we talk about them.

And it isnt that strange for a new person to be happy. It is when people get bored they complain.

Forums will always have a lot of complains as they are one of our very few windows of communication with Zenimax. Usually, if you want to communicate with a large company, it is because you have a complain, you don't call your local chain of supermarkets just to say "Hey, you guys are doing a great job!".

As for the veteran system removal, its been announced and postponed 'till after the release of Tamriel Unlimited for consoles. It is a controversial subject, but I think most of the community agrees that leveling through the veteran levels feels very "grindy". I've only understood that after creating a second character, but after knowing the story line (from leveling your first toon), questing becomes a huge yawn. Once vet levels are gone, you will simply need to reach lvl 50, since champion points are shared account wide.
