This again, created emergent gameplay far more exciting than hearing "HEY LOOK ITS MAREEL" over and over again.
    OVER THERE IT'S MEREEL.
    AT'AVAR WHERE ARE YOU.
    EASY BOSS, WE'LL FIND HIM.
HOLY DIVINES, LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THAT THING.
FIRST BLOODSPAWN NOW GARGOYLES? THAT CONFIRMS IT, VAMPIRES.
    SUD HAREEM, YOU ESCAPED.
YES PRAXIM, THE WHISPERER IS GONE.
NO, YOU CAN'T BE REAL, I WAS GONNA RESCUE YOU.
IT'S OVER PRAXIN, YOU CAN REST.
NO, YOU'RE ONE OF HER ILLUSIONS, I WONT LET YOU STOP US.
    WHY IS NOTHING EVER EASY?
JOIN MY NIGHTMARE, NAO DO YOU SEEEEEE.
    NONO THIS IS ALL WRONG.
I DONT WANT YOU TO SEE ANYMORE, GET OUT OF HERE.
FINE GUESS ILL DEAL WITH THIS MYSELF.
REST EASY PRAXIN, YOU CHEATED AT CARDS, BUT YOU DIDN'T DESERVE THIS.
DID U HEAR THAT? THERE'S SOMEONE AW-LIVE OVER DER. HELP ME GET DES KAKOON OPAWN.

Pretty much...etched into my mind now. Didn't even look at anything before typing that out. Don't get me wrong I love dialogue and story telling but...yeah...

You know, on a related note, what about Dragonstar Arena? The enemies don't even drop loot aside from a tiny bit of gold. The only reward you get is a small chance at some decent set gear and master weapons, making it almost pointless to run in my opinion.
The Matrons Clutch or whatever its called World boss with all of the Dreugh. Oh my god you could go up a vet level in less than a half hour there, there were vet 5+ after just one day of the grind.

Now the Dreugh don't respawn constantly, the main boss doesn't require you to kill Dreugh to summon, and the regular Dreugh aren't considered boss mobs anymore. Sigh.

people that say grinding on mobs is fun need to point out which of the hundreds of korean grinders exported to the west ever did as well as any native western mmorpg release.

    good luck.

My argument is conditional and two-fold.
The current reference value for XP/hr is too low and does not serve the entire ESO population.
There should not be a speed limit at all. At least not to get to VR14. Champion points can be their own thing but getting to endgame capability should be at your own pace - even if your own pace is 10x faster than questing.

the current xp value is set to serve the MAJORITY of the population not the MINORITY which you are, and there is not speed limit as you say for any levels these include veteran ranks...if you put ALOT of your time playing the game then you will get to VR14 faster if you put little time then it will take you a long time....not a hard concept to grasp, but of course you seem to think that zos is putting up imaginary barrier for you

    Lineage ii - http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lineage_II

    Worth reading for sure ..

Note also on that chart Aion also a Korean with two iterations....combined of the top games more are Korean than western....

Lineage and Lineage 2 did not do those numbers in the west. Those are worldwide figures. There has been no Korean mmorpg released to the west that has at least hit everquests' peak concurrent subs (500k), because that level of grinding has never appealed to the west. Lineage grinding made everquest look like more modern hit-level-cap-in-8-hours-played mmorpgs, and starting with 2001's dark age of Camelot there has been a consistent reduction in the overall grind required for WESTERN released/based mmorpg's. Koreans just embrace it more - remember how all content ended around level 25 in aion? anyone played 2moons? there must be something like 239809768979879 examples of Korean games that were supposedly localized for the west, but really were not. Many people reading this right now may still feel the over-hyped archeage sting.
