High ping spikes in general, as of last week, in the middle of the week.

I'm not trying to complain about the lag in cyrodiil and zergs and what not.

As of last week, mostly mon-fri, I have been getting a lot of ping spikes, even when not in cyrodiil. This doesn't usually happen to me.

A few of my friends/guildies have also said they are experiencing this problem.

My ping is normal between 100-200, then the game becomes unreactive, and then I see my ping spike up to over 1K. Then it goes back down, game becomes responsive again.

I don't know if it's on my end(and my friends') or maybe something from last weeks patch is causing this.

Same problem, my usual ping is 210ms, I'm having frequent 800-1000ms spikes (actually they last too much to call them spikes)

have not had a spike in about 3 weeks but before that i was getting 999-1000 spikes. ping at this time is 124 (Still high for a mmo)

If you're seeing this use tracert to see if it is in fact ZOS problem.

Like @jircris11 I had problems like this a few weeks ago and the forums were full of posts about them, tracert clearly showed it was ZOS problem .. OTOH another time I saw them and tracert showed me it was an internet problem but only with one of the two ISPs I use.

So, seeing this problem and leaping to the conclusion it must be ZOS end when there aren't many reports of it may not be the best policy.
