XP as Vet is horrible, ZOS is making sure we spend every waking moment in attempts to level to v14.

Time and time again every single vet grind that gives decent xp is either nerfed or xp removed completely. As someone who has several VET characters, and many of us do SO PLEASE LISTEN TO US ZOS. You need to give us a way so that people can actually level their vet character without spending every waking moment doing so. And No I absolutely do not want to keep replaying, over and over again for over a year now, the same quest for each of my toons. I have done that too many times as is. So you either need some new content or stop feeling that you need to take away every means that we use for xp gain in vet levels.

But hey cut all the vet xp so you guys can sell your xp potions am I right? I guess you could say I am a little pissed because I was looking forward to making some progression today, you know as a working class citizen who time is important to them, but now it seems like FG xp was hotfixed and now you get ZERO xp.

So thank you ZOS, I REALLY enjoying spending all my time grinding for very little xp. Someone's got to say it, would be nice if you would listen to your vet players every once in a while.

Yea so finished greenshade.. well do that 3 more time plus all other quest and see where you stand on repeating everything you've done 3 times over. It easy to say well just play this or that way, but it seems like this is your first vet toon so by all means play how you wish.

I dont understand why craglorn mobs are 3 times harder to kill then vr10 zone mobs, and give 3 times less xp.

I have two vr14 and dont think I can handle the questing and the same zones again. I just cant. I tried to start again today, but I had to log off.

And let me be the first to state this bc I know someone is. Zos has address this with someone else saying it was an exploit, ect ,ect.. well how about giving us better grind spots. And then someone else from zos said, we dont have a problem with players grinding.. well lets back track a little bit.

If there wasnt a problem then why where all craglorn grinds with world bosses completely nerfed? If there wasnt a problem with players grinding and not exploiting, then what happened to spellscar. This excuse ZOS uses is complete BS and we all know it. They clearly do not want you to earn xp faster than quest and that is the issue in a nutshell.

So if ZOS is reading this please stop posting hypocritcal statements saying you don't have issues with playings grinding xp, because its very very clear you do. And the crab grind was labeled as an exploit, but is that not how the mechanic was designed? If they would simply stop failing to see if we have reasonable xp coming in thru normal means players wouldnt resort to "exploting" as zos calls the crab grind.

Because ZOS wants to ensure work vs rewards is bass ackwards, and they DO have an issue with grinding for xp. REGARDLESS what they continue to claim. Its like ZOS claiming to be one thing, but constantly doing another.

EP char vet 11 in Grahtwood with a /played of 6 days 8 hours. I've done no grinding (I hate it and was afraid I'd have to grind my last levels).

Just cleaned everything on the map as I was leveling up, kept the dungeons, main quest and Mage/Fighters guild quest for after vet 1 (since it scales and there's enough xp below vet content...) and been leveling since lvl 1 with a full explo set.
In EP zones since my horse was so sloooow, I chose instead to travel on foot and kill everything that crossed my path.
I've also open every chest and safeboxes I saw.

    Worked great.

i have done all the quests (no pvp) and upon arriving in new zones i'm actually 1 1/2 lvls over the mobs. Also if you have zero desire to reply the same things then stop leveling. You ether do the quest and lvl that way or grind it up via crummy mob xp or laggy pvp. (trust me i know the pain this is my 5th vet toon already have 4 to v14) but i try to forget about the redundancy and make up my own adventures. You are complaining about no new content, you would have killed your self if you played EQ or EQ2 then.

The XP the mobs now give Craglorn is crazy low. And the constant nerfing of Craglorn content since its creation is very conflicted with the message that they support grinding.

No one groups there anyway. It's freaking empty now. When was the last time you saw someone do an anon?

They could put it back the way it was and at least let us get some use out of the area. Otherwise they just burned all that time and money. Very sad.

Its no so much about replaying them as the time invested. Most of us are working people, we are not students or unemployed or just have nothing to do with my time. So if I sit down for a few hours I want it to count for somthing. And just today a fellow guildie played for over 6 hours in an attempt to level and only made it 75 percent of a vet level. So it is BS that there is very very little reward for as much time as we invest.

Yeah, but did you find all the points of interest and do all the side quests? I did that and I got XP so you should try it! JK. Talking with some of the people on these forums is worse than talking to a wall..at least the wall doesn't respond with enraging information that is incorrect and/or irrelevant to the conversation.

I feel your pain. I'm on my 3rd vet character...not because I wanted another one but because there is no other viable content for solo player to progress with. It's kind of depressing, actually. Honestly, with the transformation this game has taken since launch it's gone from my favorite MMO of all time (after EQ) to just another MMO I'm playing until something else comes out. Kind of sad.

EXACTLY and to make things worse if there is even the slightest decent grind spot.. well it is overcrowded so you end up getting 1/4 of the xp because there are so many attacking your mobs.

You can't tell ZOS ***, because they don't really listen to feedback. So when we say no one is using craglorn they simply do not care. I just don't understand, if they are making the money then what is the big deal about having a good way to gain xp? Oh wait, so they can sell us xp potions.. right.. now that all decent xp is nerfed.

Yep and some are holes about it too. Remember scorpion grind, some didn't know, but others knew not to kill the mobs and still did so we'd have to wait for another boss. I remember someone posting pictures from a bunch of dead bosses here in the forum, then bam, ZOS nerf hammer.

It is man, and I usually never get pissed but this just makes my blood boil to the point where I want to say *** it, and just walk away. And the ones who come on here and defend ZOS's actions to keep nerfing xp *** me off further. "its my first vet and I leveled fine" well do this for a year and come back to me and see if you are still that enthusiastic about doing everything you see.

If it wasnt for me running a guild and having what I consider responsibility to what I have created thus far, I would be gone right now. But I stick with it, and its not like Im asking for *** rare candies for my toon, but hell give us vets a way to level for once.

Ah yeah sorry I was a bit off topic then ^_^ But FYI, this is my fourth char, I have 3 vet 14 ;)
I can understand you find it boring though... I do too sometime, especially now v_v
But afaik, it's always been the case in all MMO : reroll = replaying same content.
On the other hand, I quite aggree on the lack of content (even though I'd like vet14 content, not low level content or "here's a new raid where you need to be vet16, go grind two more levels" content) especially in a game where rerolling even in another faction gets you to play the exact same content you did with previous char, just not in same order (that is really, really, really bad - in terms of fun, of lore and everything else)

Well there is a law of diminishing returns here and I can't stand to sit thru all the same dialogue over and over. I think new content would help alot, But there is still a serious need for viable alternatives to leveling. That's all I wanted to say with all this, I know I sound "passionate" about it. But i'm tired of being jaded by a company I am and have been paying for a service that is very lacking.
