Fix/Suggestion for more competitive builds

Right now players need to max stamina or magicka if they wish to be competitive in the end-game, this eliminates hybrid builds.
Because of this there are master races, Imperial, Redguard, High Elf, Breton. They are just better than every other race because of max resource racials.

My suggestion on how to fix this:

Each level you would gain one point to put in resources, Magicka or Focus (stamina) they should not increase your damage, only your resource pool.

You would also gain another point to put in Power or Endurance. Power should increase your damage and healing, endurance should give you health and another resource bar which would be used for block, dodge and sprint.

Lets say if you decide to go pure power build, you would have really low health and endurance that would allow you to do one or two dodges in a row. If you spent some points in endurance, health and dodging would be buffed at the expense of your damage/healing output.

This way we could build all sorts of different COMPETITIVE builds, and it would allow other races to shine.

Some example builds:
-Magicka tank
-Stamina tank
-Hybrid tank

-Magicka bruiser
-Stamina bruiser
-Hybrid bruiser

-Magicka glass cannon
-Stamina glass cannon
-Hybrid glass cannon

- Physical damage + Healing
- Magic damage archer

I am sure many builds would be really good and fun!

Another suggestion regarding armors, this is debatable, just a thought but still it would allow players to build effecient builds and use different pieces of armor.

Light armor:
- Reduces the magicka cost of abilities by 3% per each light armor equipped
- Increases the magicka regeneration by 3 % per each light armor equipped
- Increases spell critical by 3 % per each light armor equipped
- Increases the endurance regeneration by 3 % per each light armor equipped

Medium armor:
- Reduces the focus cost of abilities by 3% per each medium armor equipped
- Increases the focus regeneration by 3 % per each medium armor equipped
- Increases weapon critical by 3 % per each medium armor equipped
- Reduces the cost of Roll dodges and sprint by 3 % per each medium armor equipped

Heavy armor:
-Reduces the damage taken by 2 % per each heavy armor equipped
-Increases the health regeneration by 3 % per each heavy armor equipped
-Restores magicka and focus each time you are hit by XX. Can only occur every 4 seconds.
-Reduces the cost of blocking and breaking free by 3 % per each heavy armor equipped

    I like your idea but i dont really think that having three more variables in the game would help in any way. having another resource pool, even if its just for rolls, dodges, blocks, and such, where is this resource coming from? another point per level? so in essence you are asking for three points per level? each to a different part of the character? won't this add more unnecessary 'character baggage'?

    Im all up for different builds, more choices, more open mindedness on hybrids and magicka tanks and stamina staves users... but until the game itself gives us more reason to do this, it wont really happen. Not to mention, min maxers will eventually find that best of any build you have, thus still rendering this moot.

    Work around the current setups. Maybe we can work health into the block factor? maybe having higher physical weapon damage would help to offset the need for stamina on survival? Perhaps magicka skills can include escape skills as well eg: Streak, Major Expedition buffs and so on?

    each level you would get two points. one point to spend on your prefered resource(magicka or stamina) they would not increase your damage.

    And another point to spend in power or endurance, power gives your damage and healing output, endurance increases your health pool and endurance resource bar for dodges.

    This was discussed to death long before the rebalance of 1.6

    ZOS view is stamina cost is cheaper than magicka costs to make up for the double dipping.
    They have no intention of adding a 3rd resource.
    Anything that can be exploited will be exploited
