I think now that we've had all of these game patches, its time to settle down and raise a family, and what better way to do that than player housing? Anyone agree with me?

PKMN12✭✭✭✭✭IF it is EVER thought about adding, well you have A LOT of things that need to go in before that they promised a while ago.

Dark Brotherhood
IMPERIAL CITY
possibly spellcrafting
possibly PVP part of justice system
Plus, of course there is the whole "no new content until after console version is settled" thing which means nothing is going to happen at ALL until 2016, and then all of those things have to happen, which will take A LONG time......yeah, there is A LONG way to go until this is ever added.1 -

i have always wished the Imperial City to be a place of gathering and meeting for all 3 factions (like the fleet in swtor more or less) where you can shop and do things... and talk to the other faction... it could have been a place to have housings as well.... but IC is going to be a pvp zone...
where could all these houses be? maybe there will be a brand new zone for housing purposes.. and some few houses can be bought/rented in the known cities already.. for stealthers , they can buy underground-houses
others maybe in Islands (that may be a solution ), some others maybe underwater (like Jar Jar Bings housings)

Bosmers may want to offer houses on trees...
and so long... Nords maybe have special houses to offer in the heights of the snowy mountains... with all the services ofc...

Wouldn't affect gameplay much as they would still be dangerous cuz the original enemy npc's would be replaced with the new owner instead ultima online style!!! would be soo sick!!! I would LOVE an army outside camping my house every morning when I wake up!!!
or even make them able to be sieged or taken over by enemy factions as well cuz that would be realistic.. like in any war small villages and towns etc always get invaded n taken over.

I'm all for player housing. But if they add spouses and children before spellcasting and the Imperial City, I'm renaming this game Elder Sims Online, and throwing in the towel.

Zet-7✭Player housing would introduce a new gold sink, which would be good. Could implement the housing area as they have on LotRO. It is an instanced neighbourhood. And it requires regular maintenance costs, adding a little gold sink there as well.This is an empty space.0 -

yea but that wasn't my point it's um.... I'm pretty sure there's alot more players than houses, land, apartments, and so on plus I'm sure guilds would want to buy/build guild halls. Like maybe they can do what runescape does and make your home in a pocket world. Like have you own little slice of oblivion where you can build your home...... that or get some mineing stuff and make some caves.0
