The impact of the weapon on classes skills ?

Hello,

I am new in teso and there are a few things that I dont understand in combat mechanics :

Does the weapon have a impact on classes skills ? For exemple if I play nightblade, does a skill in assination line have a higher critical rate if I use 2 daggers than if I use a two hand sword ?? or if I use a destruction staff ?? Is there any difference ? Or the damage wont change ?

Does the passive skills in weapon line have an effect on the skills classes we use ? For exemple the passive skill Ruffian in dual wield wich increases damage when attacking stunned, immobilized, disoriented et silenced ennemies : If I use my ultimate Soul Harvest on a ennemy who is stunned, it will increase the damages if I am using 2 daggers becauses I activated the passive OR the passive will only be effective with dual wield skills ??

Thank you !! ( and please apologize for my english, it's not my mothertongue  )

As far as I know, unless otherwise stated, passives are activated once the status or prerequisites are satisfied Regardless of the weapon equipped. Usually, the passives only involves with the related weapon but certain passives, such as refreshing shadows will be activated without the need to use any shadow abilities.

    Hope this helps.

it depends on what is effected by the passive.

your examples are quite good examples for this behaviour: the dagger crit is not restricted (beside beeing equiped and your active weapon set) so it effects all attacks while the destro staff is labled "when used with destro skills" wich restirct it to destro abilities. ruffian again is restricted to dualwield skills. so in short you have to rely on the tool tips to decide wether an ability or passive is supported or supporting another class or weapon line.
spelling and grammar errors are free to be abused
