Templar DPS

I am returning to the game after a great deal of time off and was wondering what the most recent recommendations are for a DPS stamina Templar build would be. Can someone offer up some advice on what skills to get and what armor to get with enchants and what type of weapon would be most ideal. I have read a little bit about dual wield and two handed swords but am not too sure on which is better. If someone could offer a very comprehensive guide or website that would be awesome.

I have a few questions about that information. What armor should I spend points in? Does it matter? What passive skills should I dump points into and can I spend points on crafting or will that hurt my DPS output? What attribute is best for my armor pieces? (like impenetrable?)

For skill builds I'm not sure which is the most updated but I recall seeing two that have updated for all the changes I will see if I can find a link to one or both.

For maximinging DPs you want to maximize the stamina stat. But I think some balancing with stam regen may be needed. Deal wield/two hander are about equal in my exp so its just play style and obviously bow for ranged stamina based.

The enchamment that buffs glyphs is good for head chest legs, and mundus for others with the (I wanna say thief buff) ia great.

Once you have enough skill points you should be able to get all the passives and still have room for some crafting and some build flexibility ....but I couldn't begin to tell you the exact count...it probably depends how many sp you have, how much build flexibility you desire etc....so its tough to answer.

For stamina DPS your best bet just might be 2H for your primary weapon, and for emergencies use a bow as your back up. You can do rather amazing DPS with just the 2H alone, and other skills that other classes use, such as Evil Hunter for example, are not needed by you because you have a class skill that does the same thing buff wise, a la Biting Jabs, which lends you 10% extra crit when you use it and a passive 10% crit bonus damage just for having it slotted, plus it hits hard on its own too.

Power Of The Light is a good debuff skill and Wrecking Blow will be a must use for you, as would things like Rally and Executioner.

Thank you for the input and trying to find the links to those sites. The information that I seem to be finding is at least a year old. I think I will go with heavy armor and try and figure out what passive skills may seem good. Is there a specific set of gear or a best weapon that is two handed? I may need to start a new templar though I am Imperial.

I realized shortly after posting this I suppose it is best to go with mostly light armor and a two heavy.
