Hello! I recently returned to the game. Simple question really, will i be able/welcomed in end game PVE dugneons or raids as a DPS magicka caster NB, or would i be better off rerolling something more standard.
Im having a blast but also enjoy my stam DK. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

WhiskyBob✭✭✭✭✭Magica NB has a very amazing burst for pvp but for pve you want to go dual-wield stamina for sustained damage.
Stamina DK is also valid but magica DK can crush the DPS meters once you have Valkyn Skoria set.Edited by WhiskyBob on April 25, 2015 9:32AM0 -
WhiskyBob✭✭✭✭✭Meh. Stamina templars are fun to grind levels with but you really want to go magica heavy attack/flare weaving for group content.0

nl_pezzSoul Shriventhank you Whiskey, i think im going to level up my stam DK first. I really enjoy his playstyle/animations, and i guess if i feel im lagging behind i can respec magicka without rerolling. I appreciate the help!0

WhiskyBob✭✭✭✭✭Stam DK can still roll out some good numbers. Igneous Weapons/Heavy Attack/Wrecking Blow weaving rotation is easy to master and is kinda effortless.0

Depend of what kind of people you are going to play with and what are your personal ambitions.
You do not need to be the top DPS to get the job done. So if you enjoy your Nightblade caster, and you are getting the job done (ie not being a terribad DPSer that stand in the fire and produce less damange than the tank), I don't see why you could not play the class you enjoy. There is more than one path to victory and Nightblade caster, if properly build, with the right gear, can certainly be great!
I'd like that players stop to stress about what class to play, and what weapons to use, and others experimented players to stop to enforce certain builds. YES, to be the best DPS there is builds that are better than others. But you don't need to be have the best build to succeed in Gold Key Dailies, trials and DragonStar Arena, unless you want to break records. But if you play "normaly", you have a bit more options than what people generally suggest!Edited by Elloa on April 25, 2015 12:18PM0
