I put in a ticket but haven't heard anything yet, and I'm not certain if I'm seeing the same issues as others. Maybe I'm having issues with my ISP and it's only a coincidence that it's occurring after a major patch? I think it's worth noting that I've never encountered these issues before, and I telecommute full-time and am not encountering any other network-related issues. Basic bandwidth and latency tests don't report any issues. PC is hooked to Ethernet cable, not wi-fi.
- Firstly, I am frequently seeing huge latency spikes, with rubber-banding and unresponsiveness, followed by crash-to-login screen.
- Sometimes, everything around me freezes even though there is no latency spike; I can run around for a minute or so as though time has stopped in Tamriel, until I get kicked to login.
- I think these issues began Saturday 07-Mar-15; when 1.6.5 initially came out, things were good.
- There seems to be a correlation of activity to instability; i.e., greater on-screen activity correlates to more instability, but the instability is not restricted to "busy" areas - I could be riding my horse across a field and get kicked (by the server, not the horse)
- This morning, I got kicked when running around an Outlaws Refuge, and subsequently encountered "Error 200 (7:4:409:597)" when attempting to re-log
- I have executed the "Repair" utility several times
- I have ensured that I am running the latest drivers and have lowered the graphics settings from those recommended by NVidia GEForce Experience as per the attached
:'(
Any suggestions? Are these the same issues others are encountering?
Will upload and link to video example and attach diagnostic.
