Using the Core Temp app that was suggested to me... on the bottom is the Temperature Readings and the CPU temp shows the Min and Max that it runs at. Before I cleaned it all up the other night it was way up around 87C but now I haven't seen it over 30 even stressing it in game and such.

more likely the fan was completely stopped. What sort of cpu do you have anyway?
I also recommend cleaning your room more often than once a year, if a rig built in less than a year ago is already filled with dust.
There is no airflow, no cooling. Dismount and clean it manually. Or ask for a technical support.
