Are we really looking at the end of 2015 or beginning of 2016 to see any new PVE zones?

ZOS has crown store crap, console release crap, and PVP crap to deal with, much more of a concern than another PvE zone imo.

If you compare this game to another recent MMO like GW2 (1 year 9 months older than TESO).
GW2 has released 4 new PvP maps, 1 new WvW map, 3+ PvE maps, 2 Living Stories, FIXED there WvW/AvA problems/lag (got rid of culling). This all done in 2 years.

In 1 year more like 2 new PvP maps, 1 new WvW map, 1 new PvE zone, and 1 Living Story, and WvW/AvA problems/lag was fixed.

The only thing GW2 does now is rebalance, rebalance AGAIN and AGAIN. There's really no major BUGS to fix, unlike this game.

As for the gemstore/crownstore, they also made several NEW outfits, armors, pets, hairstyles, facials, etc.

I haven't played this game since start, so its hard to compare, but if someone has played from start they can compare MMO productivity from my data.

**Also note, GW2 was in development since 2007 released 2012, TESO was in development since 2007 as well but released 2014. So both games are relatively the same age if you consider when they both were starting to get designed.

And they are not focus on making a console version. That is the key point and the major difference between the games. The only reason we do not have any content coming out now is because they are they are trying to get the consoles out. Plenty of console gamers are waiting to play this on consoles for more than a year. I think they deserve to at least get there hands on the game on their system. I believe is what they are trying to do but once they do.

They are going to bombard us with new content because they said they are going to have dlc packs. So they are probably going to have at least two of them out with plenty of crown store theme stuff to go along with them. They already state there is going to be a major update after the consoles are coming out.
    We also have
    • Orsinium
    • Imperial City
    • Murkmire
    • Clockwork City
    • Mephala's Realm
    • Abah's Landing
    • Theives Guild/Dark Brotherhood
    • Spell crafting in the future
    • and other things they have not mention.

I serious doubt we are going to have to wait until after this year to get new content.

We thought practically the same thing last year at this time and look at how that turned out. There is absolutely no reason to believe new content will be delivered any time soon.

Let ZOS... work on the current content. Current Bugs... and slowly peddle away at expansions. This model is better then them stacking bugs on top of bugs, racing against the clock to push content out without even testing it...causing system instability and unbalanced play to the ultra extreme.

So all I been hearing in this thread is how every one basicly wants Zos to completely drop console related stuff and solely focus on PC players either though they already pushed console release a entire year back and had console players breathing down there necks during it.

We'll get new content when we get new content cause you have to remember at the end of the day ZoS is still a business and have to make sure all faction of players get what they want not just one faction. Cause sure companys tend to listen to PC players more but most of the sales come from console players it's like the twilight or a coin one side can not excite with out the other.

Yeah but they have clearly stated that they are not going to be pushing out content by the six to eight week standard anymore so we really cannot hold them for it anymore until they finally give us an update on the future. TBH I rather them improve the content we have now instead of new content because as of now the old content is stale not just because we did it many times but because it does not have any good reward and benefits.

They need to improve the standards of the game we have right now before they add new content that will cause more bugs or will become stagnant because players are going to rush through it, find that the reward sucks, and then complain about wanting more new content again.

If you are ok with getting new content whenever thats fine. Im not asking them to drop the console release. Im asking them do I really have another year almost before I can do anything? If so how many people you think will be left at that point? We had nothing basically since launch besides craglorn and upper craglorn. Those supposedly were done before launch. What the heck have they been working on all this time?

Noone is asking them focus solely on PC players but can we get SOME focus? No we are sdecond fiddle now to the console crowd. We cant get anything on PC unless they also get it and at the same time. So we are looking at winter 2015 or spring 2016 before we see anything new on PC side. Sorry but by then there will be so few left it will be a ghost town.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to agree, I don't even want to upgrade my gear to be competitive because there is little to no reason. If they gave out more details about what to expect and when at least we could let this dead horse rest.

It's all about console players. When they start making fuss about no new content, new content will be released.

    agreed.

yes it sucks that we have to wait for console release to see anything new.. but it seems like they are working on content as well and im pretty sure we'll see something shortly after content release.. I doubt they will wait till end of this year... I don't think they hate us :D

If they release new pve content (new dungeons, quests, etc) and it's buggy - people will scream.
If they don't rush the release of new content - people will scream.
I'm working my way through the rest of the Gold quest line. I'm VR13 and have to finish this zone then one more then I am through with the entire Cadwell line.
I'm also working on achievements, dungeon daily pledges, crafting, leveling my skills, getting more shards from other zones, etc.
There is plenty of things to do.
Do I want to see more content? Of course. But I have stuff to keep me busy.

Ive done all the cadwells quests 4 times now. Im not going sit and do pledge runs for a year waiting on them to release new content. There is NOT plenty to do if you've been here since day one.

I've been here since Day One. Day Negative Five, in fact. And all of the beta weekends.
So you have every achieve? All the dyes unlocked? Gotten ALL of the sky shards in ALL of the zones? Maxed out your skill points? Leveled, morphed and Leveled again your Main Spec skills? Your Off Spec skills?

Just saying, there's a lot to do and you're saying you've "beaten" ESO.
[Hard Mode Dungeoneers] is recruiting all players of all levels for this new Guild.
THIS IS A NEW-BUT-GROWING GUILD. We are focused on doing vet pledges, vet dungeons, getting achieves, & doing hard mode bosses.
Most active GMT+10 (Australia time zone) in the afternoon Mon-Fri and all day Sat/Sun.

You all forget that after the console release they need the money coming from PC AND console players to work on a release for Unix machines, tablet PCs and smartphones.

I am sorry but that'll be the truth for us... But hey, they will of course still have some trainees working on new crown shop items, Yay!

They should just release the original tutorial as a "new" PVP zone. Call the The Homecoming Campaign.
