Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – April 8, 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC) - 6:00PM EDT (22:00 UTC)
We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

Are we really looking at the end of 2015 or beginning of 2016 to see any new PVE zones?

ZoS already said that they won't release any new PvE zones till 1-2+ months after consoles release date... ;)

Indeed we are. ZoS is too busy with the Crown Store... oops I mean Console release to bother giving us PC users new Zones, Trials, Dungeons, small form PvP, hell even a Barber Shop.

They are definitely working on multiple different DLC's (content), although I wouldn't expect it in June/July. Console release is in June so they'll need to work out any bugs etc. with the console before anything new gets added.

I have 4 VR11+ characters now. I cant do another one. I cannot stand craglorn. I was cool with them doing that first for the people who want to group after all this is a MMO. Come on tho its been months and months with nothing for people who are more into what the entire rest of the game is like. Delves, dungeons, landscape quests and world bosses is what I expected. I think I have been more than patient but come on. Next year? I'll be heavily vested in something else before then.

Seeing as they still haven't even worked out the bugs on the PC version after 12 months, if they have to work out bugs on the console release too don't expect that DLC anytime soon

    That's 1 year without content.

They're making me switch to FFXIV in 2 weeks that's what they're thinking. A year of stale content is too much. We've paid for this beta for a year and can't even get content on a decent schedule? All they care about is the crown store and console updates because console players mean tons of micro transactions

No one knows but I guess it will either be lots of DLC´s smacked up at once to make a smashing hit for consol launch wich would do wonders for the whole game (both consol & PC) or it will take a really long time.... if ever.

My best bet would be august, once the console has launched and things have settled with that. Then ZOS can focus on bringing out new content. In the meantime I catch up on achievements and play a bit of AOC again.

If they release new pve content (new dungeons, quests, etc) and it's buggy - people will scream.
If they don't rush the release of new content - people will scream.
I'm working my way through the rest of the Gold quest line. I'm VR13 and have to finish this zone then one more then I am through with the entire Cadwell line.
I'm also working on achievements, dungeon daily pledges, crafting, leveling my skills, getting more shards from other zones, etc.
There is plenty of things to do.
Do I want to see more content? Of course. But I have stuff to keep me busy.
[Hard Mode Dungeoneers] is recruiting all players of all levels for this new Guild.
THIS IS A NEW-BUT-GROWING GUILD. We are focused on doing vet pledges, vet dungeons, getting achieves, & doing hard mode bosses.

That's great for you but many others have already done what you have done and much more and completed it MONTHS ago (in many cases on multiple characters). Just because you are just now getting to the end of gold doesn't mean there is plenty to do for others. It also doesn't excuse the fact that there is likely to be almost a year of time between content updates for PC players. That is not acceptable in any scenario and especially when we were supposed to be seeing content updates on a 4-6 week cycle.

Ive done all the cadwells quests 4 times now. Im not going sit and do pledge runs for a year waiting on them to release new content. There is NOT plenty to do if you've been here since day one.

I feel like all these patches that are happening are to fix bugs...

After like 5 or so patches I've partaked in (I started almost 2 months ago), my game still freezes, I'm stuck in ground when zoning in other zones for a few seconds, zoning screens acting very weird on me, some buildings feel like they haven't loaded properly, sometimes the woodworking station isn't there and I have to run out of range and run back for it to appear, sometimes the banker in glenumbra doesn't appear and I have to rezone.

THATS a lot of bugs if you ask me. VERY annoying kind of bugs too. After all these patches, still seeing these bugs, and I see/hear others with the SAME BUGS too.

Before ANY OF YOU say, "too much is going on, so its buggy".
Everquest, Guild Lobby, hosts 200+ people, casting spells all over the place, major lagspike when you enter the main chamber where 200+ people are standing.... YET those bankers are ALWAYS there. The zone loads PROPERLY ALL THE TIME. I dont get stuck inside the ground for a few seconds. I DON'T CRASH either. I take a massive lag spike... YET I DO NOT CRASH.... TESO, crashing out of nowhere.... UNACCEPTABLE how a game... Everquest, 10+ years old system is doing BETTER than TESO, also having MORE people in there zones too, I've never seen 200+ people in any zone in TESO. And if you claim "NPC's are static", well BEFORE the guild lobby, everyone was in the Plane of Knowledge, again roughly 200+ people, AGAIN never crashed, never saw any glitching with NPCs not showing or any objects not showing.

ANOTHER game, more current... GW2. Hearts of the Mist, about 100+ people in that zone, stuff going on all over the place... YET I dont get stuck inside the ground, zone loads properly, I DON'T CRASH randomly.... TESO, I experience bad zone loading, crashing, stuck inside the ground upon entering a zone for a few seconds and so on.

It's not like a base 10 number, unfortunately. The general patch naming convention would be to go to 2.0.10 next for an incremental update. I realize we've never gotten there before, but I'm afraid we'll have to get used to it.

Fixing issues with the existing content and pushing out the console versions are the main priority at this time. Once this is complete there will be a couple months of making sure everything on console is working. It will not, obviously.
Once everything is stable throughout both PC and console versions they will be able to devote time and resources to adding new content.

    It makes sense.
However anybody with an active subscription is being royally... Well, you know...

    Pretty much this.

I don't know why it's OK for games to be released in such a state, much less running for a year like this.

If you compare this game to another recent MMO like GW2 (1 year 9 months older than TESO).
GW2 has released 4 new PvP maps, 1 new WvW map, 3+ PvE maps, 2 Living Stories, FIXED there WvW/AvA problems/lag (got rid of culling). This all done in 2 years.

In 1 year more like 2 new PvP maps, 1 new WvW map, 1 new PvE zone, and 1 Living Story, and WvW/AvA problems/lag was fixed.

The only thing GW2 does now is rebalance, rebalance AGAIN and AGAIN. There's really no major BUGS to fix, unlike this game.

As for the gemstore/crownstore, they also made several NEW outfits, armors, pets, hairstyles, facials, etc.

I haven't played this game since start, so its hard to compare, but if someone has played from start they can compare MMO productivity from my data.

**Also note, GW2 was in development since 2007 released 2012, TESO was in development since 2007 as well but released 2014. So both games are relatively the same age if you consider when they both were starting to get designed.

And they are not focus on making a console version. That is the key point and the major difference between the games. The only reason we do not have any content coming out now is because they are they are trying to get the consoles out. Once they do. They are going to bombard us with new content because they said they are going to have dlc packs. So they are probably going to have at least two of them out with plenty of crown store theme stuff to go along with them. They already state there is going to be a major update after the consoles are coming out.
    We also have
    • Orsinium
    • Imperial City
    • Murkmire
    • Clockwork City
    • Mephala's Realm
    • Abah's Landing
    • Theives Guild/Dark Brotherhood
    • Spell crafting in the future
    • and other things they have not mention.

I serious doubt we are going to have to wait until after this year to get new content.
