The Destinations add-on will help with that, shows amongst other features, the locations of vamp/ww shrines and concentrations of vamps etc for biteys.

Grab it via Minion or ESOUI, that will help ya out.

My first WW character got bitten naturally. I actually didn't even realize the mobs I was fighting were the special kind that can actually give you the disease, and in my ignorance I killed them rather than leaving them alive for others to get infected.

I've also had a character get infected by a WW after I noticed someone posting in /zone that the WWs were up. I raced to his location, got infected and ran away. Then I came back, and both of us spent the next little while letting people know they were there, and encouraging people to get bitten, but not to kill them.

Same thing happened with 2 Vamp characters of mine.

My other WWs and my other Vamp were bitten by players, although I did see WWs spawn just last night - I got there just in time to see some folks slaughtering them.

You just missed WW spawn night yesterday when both moons were full in the sky.

They can be hard to find, but once you know where to look it's not so bad. Unfortunately there are always one or two jerks running around who purposely kill off the spawns knowing full well other people are looking for bites.

Zos really needs to make these spawn immortal.

Their exact locations, seem to have some variety or debate on them. You can google for a couple maps but I hear they're not the most accurate.

What he said and also note, once you hit VR levels, your original end zone Werewolves wont infect you (entered a Bug report for VR6 unable to get infected by level 47 back in January, with no response so I assume its working as intended).

My vr10 EP character got infected by bloodfiends in the Rift a month or so ago. That is strange.
