Glyph of Potion Speed

Is there really any point to using a higher quality rune to get this effect on jewelry seeing as (I assume) the cool down is ALWAYS 5 seconds whether is be normal or yellow.

Nope, not really. I've always seen the cool down be 5seconds no matter what aspect rune I tested with.

Deltia Gaming shows a build using just this glyph. With the reduced cool down and the duration of the potions, he shows how to keep the potion based buffs he was using up constantly. He does describe it as a Glass Cannon, but it was very effective and taking out mobs.

So, one ring, not much difference, 3 pieces with the Glyph, and a build that takes advantage of it, then it can be powerful.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

That's dandy and all but why the hell would you want to get gold glyphes even if this is your thing? (its mine) High status buff + alchemy augmented + Siphon/regen healer.

The potion speed glyphs have always been this way. Just use white tier and save yourself the money as all tiers have the same value. These were super useful when the potion cooldown was 30 seconds because you could half the cooldown time with 3 enchants (it was a tradeoff though for regen or reduce feat/block cost), especially for Argonian NBs. Now? Not so much. I just replaced all my potion speed enchants with stamina regen. Much more noticeable difference in PvP where most fights are over with 1-2 seconds.

I don't think you would. I have not made any of these recently, but from what I remember the duration is the same no matter what Aspect you use.

It's a special purpose thing really, and there are many ways to skin the Khajiit in this game.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

So they upped it from 30. I thouth that was what it was back in beta, why would they nerf potions wtf.

Because they haven't made portable chamber pots usable yet. Have to constrain peoples' drinking problems somehow...
Due to a typo in the system, the area was accosted by the Daedric Prince Moar Lag Brawls.

They also increased the duration so that potion effects last much longer (if you have the Alchemy passives then the potions last 45 seconds actually). I don't know why they lengthened it tough, as it only hurt classes that relied on potions for burst self-heals, especially NBs.

It hurt alchemists too, sure its great you get that regen for that 45 seconds but you can't re reburst which takes a lot from an alchemists combat advantage.
