Is it just me or does the daedrat resemble a small varren more than a rat? I'm not complaining, I like varren.

I remember when having a cool-looking outfit in game meant you had spent time selecting your styles and dyes carefully.
Now it just takes 2 clicks and a credit card.

    Good Job @ZOS.

We are going to do Victorian England costumes and pretend it completely fits into ESO now?

Where is my anime schoolgril outfit?

Right? This is kind of annoying. I simply want peasant clothes that already exist on npcs...there are a ton of things they can do...yet these look so out of place :-(

I want the Imperial City, been a bit of a wait since we thought it would originally land on the live servers :p... as far as the OP's pictures, I actually might buy the noble male costume :).

Exploits suck. Don't blame just the game, blame the players abusing them!

I hope that, if they do release these 'noble' clothing designs, that they rename them slightly to 'Breton Noble'.

ZOS needs to remember that a noble from Skyrim, a noble from Summerset Isles, and a noble from High Rock all look and dress differently. They are not just dealing with 10 distinct cultures, but far more.

While this 'nobles' outfit looks fine and I do intend to get it if it releases, it reflects only a tiny portion of the game's lore (the traditional Breton/High Rock nobility). By clarifying the name a little better, this leaves them plenty of room to design other noble's costumes without confusing the playerbase when they release.
Ruze Aulus. Mayor of Dhalmora. Archer, hunter, assassin. Nightblade.
Gral. Mountain Terror. Barbarian, marauder, murderer. Nightblade.
Na'Djin. Knight-Blade. Knight, vanguard, defender. Nightblade.

    XBOX NA
Ruze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.

He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.

This is an multiplayer game. I should be able to log in, join a dungeon, join a battleground, queue for a dolmen or world boss or delve, teleport in, play for 20 minutes, and not worry about getting kicked, failing to join, having perfect voice coms, or being unable to complete content because someone's lagging behind. Group Finder and matchmaking is broken. Take a note from Destiny and build a system that allows from drop-in/drop-out functionality and quick play.

    Eh...

That Noble Outfit does seem a bit borderline. I suppose I could see a High Elf wearing something like that, Breton possibly, anything else...

I'm conflicted... I want to support ZOS but none of this stuff really interests me.
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.

This exactly! I'm dying to like some of this new stuff coming, as I am really anxious for some new costumes/outfits etc, but I don't like any of these. :(

I'm trying to figure out why the costumes they keep coming up with look like stuff from the 1700s. ESO has always had a more medieval vibe I thought. Plus, the real question is...are they DYEABLE? Because I don't see the point in wearing the EXACT same outfit as everyone else and, alas, Dyes are the ONLY way we have to customize anything. Short of that these need to be offered in AT LEAST 5 different color combinations AND those variations need to be released all AT ONCE. At least they did the armors in 3 different colors. If they can figure out that they need to do that for armors...why not clothing?

For everyone asking, "Why are you buying this crap? It's free with mods...?" needs to understand server costs. Running data centers and managing massive server and bandwidth requirements is not cheap. Unlike a regular ES game, ESO has significant monthly upkeep to stay running. The numbers can be quite large (I'm a former Amazon AWS cloud tech).

If you don't want to buy the Crown Store DLC then don't do it. If you do, you'll be supporting development and maintenance costs to help improve the game. It's not for everyone, but there are very real costs and requirements to keep a game like this running.

Uhm, wrong game. Nobody asks this question because we can't have content mods in ESO. Although if you restrict it only to the first question, "why are you buying this?", then sure.

The fact that they could have developed and then released these items at any time in the past year confirms they intended this game to go B2P from the very beginning.

Before new costumes, I'd prefer to see fixed the bug with costumes disappearing.
It happens really often while in combat, I don't know if it's related to a proc or not.

Skyrim is perfectly fine without mods @NadiusMaximus ...

So when I hear folks say things like... it's "perfectly fine without mods" I have to just LOL and respond "speak for yourself."

I will speak for myself, and I loved it both ways. Unmodded console versions had a flair and focus that the modded pc version did not. Instead of worrying about load orders or what new house is out or whether I should go with this or that overhaul, I got to focus singularly on the game itself.

I played Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim first on PC, and was heavily into modding for the first two, a little in the third. And with each, for one reason or another, I eventually replayed on console.

So when I express my opinion that the game was perfectly fine without the mods, I mean it. It was great, even. Different, not as unique or freeform, but still great.

And of course, lets not forget that the vast majority of mods were sub-par. God mode weapons, out-of-character anime babes, pron animations, nude patches, and rediculous super houses ... these were the vast majority of all mods. Some gamers, maybe even most PC gamers, loved them. But I think that in the end, that kind of modding actually made the PC version LESS that what the console represented.

There were a few gems. Amazing quest lines, wonderfully well-designed houses, etc. Things which didn't disturb or disrupt, didn't contradict or outright throw out the story and entire world.

If the only way a person enjoys a fake world is by changing and rewriting it until it doesn't resemble itself, one could make a solid argument that they didn't enjoy said fake world to begin with, and aren't nearly as much a fan as they portray themselves to be.

I 'd much rather make the argument the game wasn't anything like it was portrayed and billed as upon release. That the game adopted a new dumbed down, hand holding version of it's previous titles. The promised new dynamic A.I. did not exist, and the sense of accomplishment was utterly destroyed by a world where the rats and bandits leveled up with you. Immersion was non-existent when such annoyingly fantastic things as turning Umbra into a pin-cushion with 200 plus arrows and having to go buy more. It was inexcusable at the time of release to have no dynamic lighting and the same stiff armed animations no better then those from TES: Morrowind and a hundred other minor annoyances that when left unchecked became the 800 lb gorilla in the room.

See I don't know about "god mode" but I very much enjoyed better looking weapons, armor, more dangerous combat, non- psychic guards, Night lighting, better torches, slof's horses, better hoods and capes AND- Better boobs...shrug

I'm glad you liked it, as is, out of the box.... you my friend are a true fan. ;-p

Ohhhhhh aghhhhhhhh awesome yeah haven't had new content in six months, a year if you're in Cyrodil but yeah cool Ohhhhhh aghhhhhhhh

I think it's hilarious people buy this stuff. You guys know that in every other ES game these are called mods, and are free. Finally the ElderScrolls franchise figured out how to make money off mods, make the game unmodable and sell them yourself. Imagine Skyrim, or Oblivion without free mods.
I say open up the files for regular clothing to the public and let people design their own, you know for variety, and it would take the load strain off the guys that should be doing other stuff rather than making vanity crap.

    HOLY CRAP!!

I CALLED IT! Valve now can charge for mods. This is a dark day for gaming.

hopefully valve gets that they angered the ENTIRE internet (from business mogul Forbes all the way down to 4chan) and changes it/gets rid of it. There is a petition with over 100,000 signatures saying NO to Valve doing this. According to a major valve dev, they have had over 1 million dollars in damamges thanks to this in less then 48 hours

    Basically.....Valve gone fudged up.

On the crown store front ... I'm still waiting for a motif page for the original redguard light armor, and a Durzog pet or mount.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis
