My kingdom for a horse!

Arinoyde
I'm not making a lot of in game money fast, so how do I buy a horse? I went to the Elder Scrolls Store web page and It tells me I'm not eligible to buy a horse. I don't seem to be able to buy Crowns either. Maybe that's because I bought the game from the Mac Game Store. It suggests there'd be a way IF I got it from Steam but I didn't. I can't find any link on the Mac Game Store for anything but the original game. Maybe I'm missing something. Help!

Just do quests and sell drops to the merchant and you will have 10k gold within a couple days and can buy the cheapest horse.
Semi retired from the trading aspects of the game.

Which happens to have the exact same stats as the most expensive horse... or all mounts for that matter.

I don't see anywhere you can buy a horse with game gold. The [,] key brings up the list of horses but they're all priced in sovereigns and from the Crown store which doesn't let me buy anything. How do you buy a horse with game gold?

    Try the stables.

Talk to a stablemaster, and at the top of the training menu is another little icon that says "buy" I think when you put your mouse over it. Click that and you will see the horses available to buy.

Also...have you tried going into the game and buying crowns from the crown store? Whatever version you have, it should send you to the site you need...but I am not sure about that tbh.

best way is to steal.... you can fence 100 item per day.. stolen item usually sale for 30~100(could be higher if you are lucky).. so.. roughly it take 2~3 days to get a horse..

p.s. horse is not that useful.. as you will want to collect material along the way..

I think it's just 50 items when you first start out and don't have the passive, isn't it?

Anyway, if you're a bit more selective when robbing people, you can get 100-250 per item. Assuming you sold nothing but green items for 100g, you'd have the 10,000 in just one day of larceny if you've already got one point in the passive.

When it comes to horses, it pays to think long term. For new players, horses are slow and don't offer much extra bag space. Plus, you'll be exploring, questing, farming so much, you may not spend much time on the horse. However, in the long term, horses add a lot. 60 inventory is a lot. And if you're in Cyrodil, a fast horse is a must. With the new mount system, it will take six months to fully upgrade a horse. My upgrade advise is do speed and capacity in turns until you have comfortable bag space, then focus on speed. Don't do any stamina until both of the others are at 60.

Nevermind. I found a horse seller and bought a horse! Yeah, I'd forgot I saw horse sellers around. Duh. Thanx for the advice.
