Game freezes consistently

really, 4 freezes today. (freezes everyday) here are my specs. 4790k 4.0ghz stock, 16 gig ddr3 2400mhz, titan X 12 gb.

    and no freeze for me... so your rig $%?$$%?$&#? Your spec does not mean anything if the rest (OS, driver, etc) do not work well together...

    My comp has lower spec minus the video card and the game work fine. I have from time to time some loading trouble (long wait time) and one or 2 crash in a month.

    all other games are fine, no crashes and freezes.. my whole guild complains about freezing issues every day.

    Yesterday in Cyrodill I crashed and froze 3 times. If it was my rig I could solve it. Problem was.. the entire raid of 24 people + other raids and enemy raids also crashed at same time.

    After logging back in you could see people standing still popping out en coming back.

    So it's not your rig. Many people have this issue. Sometimes you get lucky and don't have this. Once I was the only one of the 24 man raid who did not crash as I was at a different location.

    Yesterday I crashed 3 times, and the coincidence was that we where fighting EP. I know it is probably coincidence, but when fighting banana's no problem even with larger numbers. when EP arrives the lag starts and people start to crash. Weird.. or what.

    I believe he posted his rig's specs to fore-go the usual replies about running the graphics on lower settings, turning off particle effects, draw distance, plugging his computer in, updating from windows 95, etc.

    He was merely pointing out that his hardware was not the issue.

    Freezes and game crashes here. Sounding off, thanks Zenimax for giving another reason I'm thankful to no longer being a paying member.

    my game is add on free, some people even complain about freezing the same time as i do, on teamspeak

    It's the memory leak thing, yet again.

    Since 1.6 (2.0) dropped my game freezes regularly.

    The game starts off running at around 1.6GB but whenever it freezes and I have to stop the Process, I notice it's crept up to in excess of 1.9GB

    Another of those bugs that keeps getting reintroduced each time a patch is released.
    (In fact I'm on this forum right now because my game froze again and so I had a few minutes to kill before logging back in)

    I just got a freeze for the first time yesterday. My dxdiag is below if anyone wanted to know:

    My "AMD Radeon 7900 Series" is a SAPPHIRE AMD Radeon HD 7950. My game froze at about 1,563 MB Memory used. (The BGM audio was still playing however.)

    It's not the HERO engine. They use the HERO engine to prototype TESO but they used another engine since 2012 afterwards to make the game (I believe inhouse created)

    Definitely not alone. I don't PVP and my game has crashed three times this week. It just stops responding and I have to close it down.
    Far too many characters to list any more.

    Yep constant game freezing and load screens. ZOS get off your rears and fix these issues instead of doing nothing and not even commenting on this serious issue. Your incompetence on not fixing major issues is getting old.

    Do you send in the bug reports when your game freezes? Maybe if enough bug reports came in ZoS would understand they need to prioritize this issue.

    oh, wait, the stupid game froze so that's not possible.

    For anyone else whose game is freezing, have you checked out your syslogs? I get an nVidia driver crash when it happens to me, this is the only game I have where that happens. I play a few other games, none of them have that happen. I used to have to completely reboot to restart the game, but I noticed if I disable and re-enable the video driver, the game plays again without the reboot (although a reboot is still probably better).

    I don't get freezes, just game crashes (where the little crash window pops up). Last night was really bad. I crashed at least 8 times in two hours. Crashes happen almost always during or right after fast traveling (even between keeps), especially when releasing after death. Crashes also happen randomly when banking, walking around, etc. Also happening for me ever since 1.6 went live. It's gotten worse though in the past couple weeks.

    Getting the same problem as well, I've contact support, but they won't stop talking about addons when I've told them I've already tried disabling addons. I really regret being an ESO Plus member.

    I'm hoping HOPING they are spending the time with console fixng this, so when they are done we can get a hot fix.

    Mine's been freezing randomly - I've tried to pinpoint a pattern, but there really isn't one.

    Sometimes it's a few minutes in, sometimes it's a few hours. Sometimes I get no freezing at all- and it works just fine even if I play for a good length (2+ hours).

    I'm starting to wonder if there's some sort of client sync issue with the server depending on lag- although I rarely even have lag, it could be if it's having trouble syncing (latency) it will just freeze. It doesn't even crash to the desktop for me, just locks up and I end up having to close it with Task Manager.

    Other than patches from ZOS my system config is the same as it was from launch- well, even better now with a newer model video card (same brand) and drivers have been kept up to date. (perhaps a new driver vs. client issue?)

    Just speculating as it's all I really can do at this point unless there's a pattern I can follow to document.
    TL;DR - If you got this far without reading the entire post you're either too lazy or suck at reading comprehension and probably don't belong in a public forum anyway. Just move along, you wouldn't understand.

    Yup. But my freezes during character creation; at clicking on or rotating the character's image. Tried latest video drivers and stepped back one. I remember in Beta this happened but seemed to have been fixed. Apparently, it's back for some of us. The game is less reliable, (at least with this latest update for the WBW), than last year's beta.

    No freezes since i fully reinstalled my gpu drivers.
    With full deletion and clear installation.

    It's been horrible. Beta testing last year was never this bad. The game just crashes for me. If there is a support area, I'll check that out, but I have little time for this. Other games are fine: full screen, windowed, first person shooters, simulators, single player, multiplayer. :'(

    Support isn't of much use, they pass you around to like 4 different people and each forgets what the other has already tried or asked you and it's just a constant headache. :c

    To follow-up on my comments, I kept reducing graphics details and then it worked. I didn't have to do this with the Beta, but I think that was the problem. Up to that point, I had tried with the latest graphics drivers and 2 prior releases; none had worked.

    As a side thing, it is especially annoying that they show the Default box checked even though the user applies changes making the settings different from the Default. Clicking it does set it to a default, so that part works.

    BTW, I never went to "Support", but I will find some feedback place to comment on the Default box behavior.

    Just reinstalled the game, installed all addons, configured them and the same exact moment I was going to type in "/reloadui" in order to save my configuration the game crashed. I guess I am using my AK today cause it's not a good day...

    Hve freez too since ESO TU,many ppl have,many thread have been made.It have not been fixed yet.Like I said in another thread before,I love to grind champ points so i really love the 10% xp bonus from subscription,but i wont put a single dime on the game until i see those weird freez,crash and "game stop responding" that many ppl have been having since TU.
