Rajhin mantle's and crypt

Hi all,
I have not been able to find a precise answer on Rajhin's mantle quest. I have looked all over the place in the large blue circle. I have entered the crypt with the general but dies in the last combat.
My questions are : IS the mantle inside the crypt ? If not where is it ? Is the general crypt a solo quest. I am level 22, the mantle quest is supposed to be 19, but there is no way to defeat the general especially as she divides herself in 2 during combet.

You get the mantle after killing her. When she divides, use the special power to stun one of them and alternate until you kill them both.

I will go back and use the frozen ring, well I hope :-)

You can run it in a team with someone else. It is doable solo, but having a friend to help work down both versions at once is a lot easier.

My problem is that everytime I try to follow someone in the crypt, I find myself alone. Should I create a group to be able to stay together ?

The trick is alternating which one you freeze. You need them to die very close together, because if you dont, she will just copy herself.

So freeze one and beat the other down until it is almost dead, then freeze the one you were hitting and beat on the other until it is almost dead. Then kill them as quickly as you can one right after the other.

I didnt get to it until i was VR3 or so, so it might be a little rougher if this is your starting faction and you dont have all your skills yet, but the idea should still be the same. You need them to basically die at the same time.

I had a world of trouble with this on my first alt. Did it first time on my second. Doesn't help that I play in first person so couldn't see where the other one was.

I am a NB so I basically knocked them back as much as I could, froze them as much as I could and got out the way of the charging attacks they do as much as possible.

I soloed this quest at lv 19. It was a royal pain, but it is doable. I must've died a half dozen times or more before I finally defeated her. Not because she was crazy powerful, really, but because I'd exhaust all my resources trying to take out both copies and would get killed trying to escape. I'd always work on one copy at a time, kill one and get the other close and then she'd make another copy and heal to full health again. I eventually killed her by freezing one copy and getting the other one down to low health (but not dead!). Then freezing the low-health copy and killing the other one, then killing the last one before she could create another copy and heal herself again.

Thanks guys, apparently you did it all solo, so I do not understand how starkerealm did it in a group.
I understand the trick is frozen bash not kill ,then froze the other, go back and again and again.
Ok I'll try. I still get XP defeating the monsters in the crypt, so worth it.

Form the group before you go into the crypt, it will work fine, it is not a solo only quest. However if you try just following someone in... i.e. not grouped with them you will end up in a different instance.
