Bought the game a few days ago, started downloading it and it was a nice 500 KB/s (I live in Croatia so its a nice download speed for me) and then when the download hit 12% it suddenly dropped to 20 KB/s - 70KB/s. I tried every recommended solution but it didnt help.
Anybody had the similar problem?

    EDIT: All of my other games on other platforms: Steam, uPlay, etc. are downloading with normal speed.

    Same here. I'm at 150kb/s any ideas? 10% after leaving it on downloading all night.

    I'm in the USA and am getting extremely slow download speeds.

    I thought I would reinstall for the free weekend to check things out, but based on the install so far, it doesn't seem like much has improved. Definitely not the best way to lure people back. Not surprised because so many different aspects of this game scream incompetence.

    Trying to download the launcher setup from elderscrolls-a.akamaihd.net/products/BNA_Launcher/Install_ESO.exe for the welcome back weekend...
    Speed is between 1-30 KB/s, after five minutes, speed drops to almost zero. Takes like 10 hours to complete those 100 MB just to install the launcher. Really??

    Thought I would try the free weekend but the upgrade is taking 1 hour per % so to get to 100 % will take 100 hours and the weekend will be over... thanks for nothing... :/
    This is ridiculous, 8 hours and I'm a 8% updated. Maybe I'll be ready in 92 more hours. :p
    I left the computer on overnight and now it's done. Only took 24 hrs to update. Hope they can get the update to work faster next time.

    I got the game friday as a self brought bday present still trying to get the update down...at 16% between those two days...now its sunday here and still not done....sigh
