Is it me or what? Fighting with the City Guards is a lose lose. At least make it a fair fight!!!

Come on fighting with the City Guards is so humiliating! Please make it fair by adjusting the City Guards fight level to be equal to the character fighting! Make it fair. DesertRose777

    The whole point is ... you get caught - you lose.
    Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    Uh, run. Level doesn't matter. You can't kill them. Don't engage. Pay or run. Or try to use the consumables you stole before you die.

    well, @DesertRose777 The invincibly of the guards is a mechanic to discourage thievery. That being said, we have discussed the guard's immortality in many, many threads. The one I posted suggested that the guards get harder and harder the more you defeat so you may be able to kill one or two or four of them... but eventually you will die.

    love the above idea for the future.

    i think they are "unkillable" for now, since there isn't a player component for the guards. once players can kill thieving players, im thinking (hoping) that the guards will be more reasonable.

    I look at it like this... it discourages thievery like someone above said, if we dont have thieves what are player guards gonna do? and lets be honest...if they keeps guards like this when they add player guards...wouldn't guards be stronger than normal players so whats the point?

    While forming a group for Cyrodil, 18 of us really wanted to see if they truly are "unkillable"

    Anyone beat us to trying ? :)
    Think we might try tonight for sh*t`s and giggles if nothing else.

    i can get it down to half HP before im pretty much out of stamina and dead

    Yes, they missed several interesting opportunities to create flash group play in towns.

    And people covered some compelling alternatives in several topics but this game went into maintenance mode with 1.6. Even bug fixes will be hard to get for the foreseeable future, alas.

    I'm pretty sure their health bar doesn't even move. It's solid stone. How did you get it to half?
