Justice system causing my game to CRASH!!!

Ok, so today was the first day i start running around pick-pocketing, killing livestock, looting safe-boxes....

5 times now, in the span of less than an hour, which never has happened to me before, i crash... or the game freezes indefinitely... Each time i re-log, everything i stolen is taken away and my bounty paid to the guards!!!

This can happen when a guard is chasing me.. when im killing livestock or happened when i was caught pick-pocketing in the Inn and the citizens gathered to beat me... Bam Freeze.. relog, dead!!

I can put up with the lag but this is too much.

Anyone else experiencing this?? This only occurs when the justice system is involved.. otherwise, i crash once every blue moon.

Please need some feedback

Justice had some bugs, but uh if was doing as you said, then everyone would be getting the crash issues you mentioned.

Try repairing your game, updating addons, be as well updating drivers as well while you are at it.

Seriously, I hate when some *** is running around killing everything alive. Go to dungeon or sth, leave the townsfolk and them majestic netches alone. I'm not a good boy myself, but at least I have some pride and self-respect

I had the problem last night. stole something then when the guard came running up it crashed on me.
No time to response, when I came back in the game I was dead...
I submited a bug report ingame right after, and advice you to do the same, as it will give them more information.

If it's just with justice and not in super crowded area's like mournhold, elden root etc. then it sounds like a bug.

In crouwded area's the Ping can shoot up and FPS drop, we speculate this is cause there are several instinces were many players are giving the server a hard time.

When the system came out I would crash 1/4 times when a guard was chasing me. I learned to keep 0 gold on me for that very reason JIC. I know that's not a fix to the underlying issue but it's a good idea. I also noticed it would happen if I was trying to mount, view my map or achievements while being in combat with a guard. I think it has to do with the guard's incessant CC'ing that they do to you. It constantly pulls you back or roots you and I think the engine has issues processing this at the same time as mounting or if you happen to push a skill at the right time when they are using a root skill or something similar. To counter that, I've ensured that I LET them CC me and Then break it/run away with my ability. That seems to stop the crashes. Using those counter crash techniques, I've been fine since
Whatever the underlying issue is..it does need to be fixed though.

Happens to me everytime a guard is close to kill me. My game freezes and I crash. I avoid getting caught now

I accidentally nicked some beets last night when I was trying to do business with a Guild Kiosk. So, I ignore it and went on figuring a guard would show up sooner or later (I had no other stolen goods). He showed up, asked me to pay my fine and it went just fine.

Sorry no. I was pick-pocketing prisoners of war last night for a few hours and never crashed. My bounty is up to 234K!

234K ? lol epic, but maybe the life of a criminal is not for you, keep the bounty till the PvP element comes into play:P

Not sure how the PvP element will introduce, but I am assuming people with big bounties will be targeted for a hit, people like you good sir hehe.

It is not just Guards related...

I was pick-pocketing some folks in the inn and the crowd gathered and attacked me ...

I am running around trying to kite them, the game freezes and didn't even DC.. Had to CTRL-ALT-DLT to close the game and restart it.

Personally i don't enjoy the justice system... however I'm an achievement addict and trying to obtain all of achievements.

On another occasion, same night, a guard one shotted me with block up and im a tank..

Usually they take a little chunk of my hp..this time, before i got wrecked, the screen froze for a split second.. and bam, dead.

Something is seriously messed up with the system and they need to address it ASAP.

P.S: this all took place in Northpoint.. the city was devoid of players..
