Invisible Bosses or is it supposed to be this way?

Hi all, I recently did the Wayrest Sewers Vet instance. We got to what I think was the final bosses. After a certain point the one or both bosses became invisible at various parts of the fight. I just wanted to know is this supposed to happen? If so that is a bit much. How can you attack what you can't see? Because of this we could not finish the instance. This was my first Vet dungeon, if all of the Vet dungeons have broken or crazy boss mechanics like this I doubt I will ever do Vet dungeons again.

✭✭✭✭✭The bosses disappear when the bats comes. Be thankful
. Occasionally something weird happens and the bosses stay while the bats are there. That's not fun.
..If you were still being attacked by the bosses during that part.. that would be a bug. Always ensure you use /bug in game. I guess I should have clarified, the bosses stay invisible after we killed the bats.
That's odd, I have had one boss seem like it disappeared.. .although really it showed up shortly after. :S If you waited awhile and nothing happened, I would say it is a bug.
[EDIT] And don't give up on vet dungeons, they are fun!

Yep both were invisible during parts of the fight. Its not fun being 1 shotted by stuff you can't see. If it wasn't for the add-ons to tell me to block, roll, dodge, etc they would insta kill me at that part of the fight instead of being 1 shotted later.0 -

✭If the two either of the last bosses are in the middle of a cast when their HP get to the trigger point of the bats, the bats spawn but the bosses to not 'phase out' and can keep hitting you. (but you can see them)
If you have very bad luck, and time it so they have just finish their cast as they trigger the bats, they go invis and trigger the bats AND keep attacking.
As long as the tank had both taunted before the bats spawn and you kill the bats fast, they will only shoot the tank who should have block down the whole fight anyway.
But once the bats and dead, they go back to normal
