Enlightenment is still bugged.

My brother and I play relatively the same hours and reached VR1 at the same time. Since then, he has received absolutely no enlightenment while I have been permanently enlightened. Even after taking a break from the game for a couple days and logging back in, he still has no enlightenment. This has caused him to fall behind in champion ranks. We are both about the same exp into VR2 and I am champion rank 17 while he is champion rank 2. Anyone else still having this issue?

I have seen people post this. Have you opened a ticket with Customer Support?

I am almost always Enlightened, but I don't play long enough each session to get more than 2 or 3 CPs, so that is probably why.

I personally do not. I do suggest your brother should be in a customer support ticket so it can be investigated.

Do you have any other characters? You may want to try logging into to all of them if you do and haven't yet.

We're still waiting on customer support for about a week now, logging into other characters does not fix it. Though he doesn't have any other veteran characters.

Just for giggles do any of the lower level alts have any Champion Points to spend, hopefully more than the VR character does?

Weird that your waiting for a week, I have only waited less than a day. Did you get an email from the Support people? That is their first response method, not something in game.

They all have the same champion points. They responded via email 5 days ago basically explaining how enlightenment works rather than looking into it, asking for a response if the problem persists. They haven't responded back since then. I guess all we can do is wait it out.

for 2 weeks now since i got to v1 , i'm always enlightened.i read what gina wrote about the 12 days cycle etc,but for me it's like enlightening around the clock..

Are you earning more than 1 cp a day? Every day? I am also perma enlightened.. But that's because I don't earn at least 1 CP every single day @kodo

no, not every day, but like every 3 days or so, but i dont do dungeons now and not much kills, and i get them still .

Same problem - i got from vr 1 to vr5 which is around 4 mln xp and meantime i got 10 cp. I never noticed enlightement state neither got any message that i was enlighted. Put CS report, got an answer that is UI bug. Great.

Check your spam and junk folders. They don't take long to respond unless you sent in a bug vs a ticket on the website.

Yes i did get an answer - the answer was that i should not worry because its just UI bug, i wrote another mail so far no answer (48 h so not long).

I would suggest sending in a request for call-back on the main website, this is always much faster and they get you through to the right people very fast.

As for the "perma-enlightenment", I would be very curious to see the results of a little experiment. If you could, copy this.

/script d(GetEnlightenedPool())

Then, paste it into your game chat and press Enter, a yellow number will appear in your chat, what is it? That number is how much XP you have of enlightenment left, 100,000 being 1 CP worth. Whatever the number is, every time you get XP it eats away at that number until you run out, you also get 100,000 added each day, every day at the same time. My Enlightenment comes at 16:20 BST.

People who are "perma-enlightened" are almost exclusively people who had 10-12 saved up from the early period of four CP worth per day and are still getting the 100,000 XP per day added and so stay at the 12 CP "cap".

So yeah, if you can do that it'd be amazing, otherwise good luck with support!

I might have missed it, but did anyone mention that all characters must be logged in at least once, even if they are not vr chars.

I had a lv 8 storage char I never play that was bugging up my enlightenment until I logged into it once.

Same story for me. My total exploration XP = champion XP. VR 3 with 6 CP only.
Sent a ticket.

The script function mentioned above gave 0.

Logging into other character(s) didn't help. At least not right after doing it. Will be sure tomorrow.

At first I really have to say I am disappointed with the thing that happens.

The second thing is: THIS IS NOT AN UI BUG. Read fully and comprehensively - it's clear.

What's the case: Enlightenment system not working for my character AT ALL.

I turned into Veteran about a week ago (10-04-2015). I've never been given a notice about Enlightenment (that may be the UI bug BUT IT'S NOT THE CASE). The thing is I am at the moment of writing:
Veteran Level 3 with 584,774 experience gained into Veteran Level 4.
Have got 6 Champion points earned and I'm 184,774 experience points into getting 7th champion point.
What that means:
My total Basic Experience (experience gained to level Veteran Ranks) is 2,584,774.
My total Champion Points Experience is the same ( 6 x 400,000 + 184,774 = 2,584,774).
That implies I never benefited from any Enlightenment (I keep gaining the XP:CPxp in 1:1 ratio from the very beginning).
As I mentioned it is about a week since I turned Veteran so I believe I should get a lot from Enlightenment thus far (at best I should have had my CP points experience multiplied by 4!!!!).

I feel a bit cheated by You. You offer a game mechanics that is working for some, for some partially and for some not at all - this leads to a certain kind of injustice.
I am really discouraged by this matter and I consider taking action towards compensation.

Please see into this issue as soon as possible.
I believe (looking at the state of the game) it might actually be the top on the priority list.

Also many of my guildies pointed that earning 5 champion points throughout 2 veteran ranks is very little.
Never seen any Enlightenment message and, as mentioned, /script d(GetEnlightenedPool()) returns 0 for me.
