getting repeatedly kicked back to the login screen

hi! lately i've been attempting to return to ESO after hearing that it changed extremely for the better since its beta days, but i'm running into the weirdest issue. i started playing in the daggerfall covenant, but every time i try to leave glenumbra for stros m'kai by talking to the boatswain, i get the loading screen for 5-10 minutes and get kicked back to entering my username and password. sometimes it says that the error number is "<<1>>".
i've been having this issue with every single loading screen (including entering the game with a character), and it's making the game literally unplayable as i can't progress in any direction. since i'd like to give the game a second try, i'd like to receive some advice on what i can do.
preferably the advice im offered won't be a generic copy-paste response from the staff since i've tried any obvious solution i can think of, and i've been having this over an extremely long period of time (in previous attempts to play the game as well, ranging from some time after april 2014 till now). i have already reinstalled the game in its entirety.

i'm attaching dxdiag and system info files. thank you to anyone who can help <3

Welcome to the party... I have found nothing yet that alleviates this issue... It is getting so bad that I am getting lockups every 1 to 2 minutes and then booted to the log in screen as well.

I have tried numerous "fixes" posted by both ESO and players... nothing has worked so far.

This behaviour started with the patch after the 1.6 release. There is numerous posts with suggestions you can try in this forum but I have not found any that works successfully yet.

that's really depressing... the combat in this game is ideal for me but i can't play it because of some arbitrary reason. i tried to contact support but my experience with them has gone WAY downhill after launch.

did you find any methods that make the game playable or are you just laying off of the game for now?

You can try the threads setting in the usersettings.txt file and set them to 0 as well as changing the D3d11 setting to D3D9

As always run repair as well.

Make sure you are running as Admin when you launch the game. use the launcher for updates and make a shortcut to the eso.exe file on the desktop and run that as admin also.

Update video drivers and disable the nvidia streaming service

link for disabling nvidia streaming service

    https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/573811/nvidia-streamer-service-may-be-freezing-your-pc/

    How to disable this service.
Open a command prompt. (Run a command prompt as Administrator in Windows vista/7/8)
    Type the following:

    sc stop "NvStreamSvc"
    sc config "NvStreamSvc" start= disabled

    How to delete this service.
    sc delete "NvStreamSvc"

yeah that just happens to some of us don't even know if zenimax is acknowledging that issue i tried every possible problem solving although some of them are far fetched still sooo many people are reporting that issue since 1.6 trials are horrible for me right now

    Greetings!

We are still actively investigating the Error <<1>> players are receiving. At this time, it does appear to be connection-related so please be sure to try all connectivity troubleshooting steps provided by support! Many players have been able to resolve this by changing from wi-fi to a network cable plugged into their router, through port forwarding, and ultimately by contacting their ISPs to resolve or confirm possible issues with their internet connection outside of the home.

desyncing is (world freezes then you get pushed to login after like a minute) a different problem, the connection like ping to your servers are still working same as chat and some other stuff game related.i can open a second executable login at the same time with my wife's account and play happily while the other account gets disconnected. A lot of people have these problems during phases with high synchronization situations (pvp, raids and so on) As an developer if i had to make a educated guess somebody tried to fix rubber banding and implemented a algorithms to test for these situations which while perhaps working kicks the game in a bad configuration. i tried every network fix (the port forwarding is security wise a terrible idea btw) and it was still happening. In a 12 man trial we have as an average disconnecting (all with desyncing) rate about 25% this means we have 3 people having to kill eso and login again while we had random disconnects every dozens of runs from often the same people with bad i-net connections it was never that bad or the symptoms quite like it since 1.6.

@Tashira - Thank you for your suggestions. The most recent thing I've tried is disabling the Nvidia streaming service which seemed to work with some success last night. Will see if it continues to work tonight.

Previously, I had also tried the changes to the UserSettings.txt file which appeared to work only until the next day. So I'm a little dubious, but still hopeful, the Nvidia thing will "stick." But it's definitely worth a try.
Disabling the grass may improve performance.

I've been trying every recommended fix and my wife and I both get this daily now. For a while, it was only me. After a week or so she started with the same. I thin this is more widespread as a restart of your PC and usually you are back in. Doing that several times in an evening is a problem. I just don't think enough people are letting ZOS know this is happening.

Telling people to "contact their ISP" is about the worst solution I can imagine. When every other game runs just fine, this is not a solution, it is not even a bandage.

We understand the frustration regarding being directed to other avenues of support for connection problems. We can help get basic troubleshooting resolved within your home, router, and your computer. Those are things that you as players can access, and our agents can assist you in ensuring that they are running ESO to the best of your home setup's ability.

However, when there is a connection problem somewhere between your home and our servers, it is most commonly an issue that your ISP will need to work with you to resolve. Even if the game ran with no connection problems prior to a patch and suddenly experiences them, your ISP may be able to provide a solution if basic connectivity troubleshooting is not successful.

In the end, please know that we want you to be able to connect to ESO and have a great experience while playing. Our agents are working hard to ensure that every player contact gets the best answers, and unfortunately sometimes that answer is to contact your service provider for additional help. We appreciate your patience, and thank you again.

i hope you react to my post. this beeing kicked back to login screen after a desync is not a connection issue and redirecting people to their isp will help no one. i let a ping running on my pc to your server it is not showing any lost package in the time of the freeze chat is still working fine while the world is freezing this problem was reported to you massively more after 1.6 we have this problem in so many guild raids and pvp. i can even narrow it down to certain situation when it happens more there is defenetly a correlation between action and getting disconnected i tested it with 3 pcs and 3 different internet connections perhaps it is account related get somebody to look into a new routine that was implemented to help with rubberbanding i bet this is the reason for those desync.

I'm getting Error <<1>> (kicked back to account login screen) occasionally now, when an initial character load takes too long - twice since 2.0.7 came out on april 27 - and never before that. Someone "fixed" something too hard this time.
    Win 7 x64, 4GB, ATI graphics, 1920x1080 fullscreen mode.

I've had the same issue for awhile now. I've tried many of the troubleshooting tips or solutions offered by other forum members, but still keep getting kicked to the login screen with no error code. Sometimes I can play for 30 minutes, sometimes 5, and sometimes it just hangs at the loading screen. This is the only game I have had connectivity issues with. I play many other online MMO's, shooters, streaming movies etc, and do not have a connectivity issue with any of them.
