Please let me remove the bags of my horse!

After update 2.0.4 a "fix" was implemented so that all three cosmetics would appear on our horses. Fine, except now my scary Nightmare Coarser has those awful saddle bags lol. Please tell me there will be an option that lets us choose what we want on our horses. Those bags are just dreadful!

Agree,

I thought only the pack horse (+10 bags space) had these and specifically picked one without them (+10 stam).

Yeah, I had +20 on my Imperial horse and now I'm stuck with those stinking bags on all my horses.

Agreed. The bags make me want to walk rather than ride everywhere I go. While realistic, I guess, they ruin the look of the cooler mounts. Think about that nightmare courser; flames from the hooves and nostrils looking like the death itself come to Nirn then you see the huge sadle bags. Now it's a minivan with hotrod flames; ridiculous.

Please give us a box to check to hide these bags.

The bags are an eyesore!!!!!! Please ZOS, make the bags more like the ones on the Senche Tigers (those are done well) or put it back to the top 2. I refuse to use my horses now, so terrible.

Agreed. While there are certainly more pressing issues for ZoS, the art on these bags has made me stable my horse collection since the fix. I'm using my Senche mount until this is addressed. Either give us a toggle or change the art to something less obnoxious. They are an eyesore.

Could someone submit a screenshot please? I've been leveling up storage on all my characters since 1.6, and I've gotten a couple of them very close to 20 (magic number when bags appear on the mount it seems?). So I will stop at 19 if it's really that bad. A screenshot would be fabulous.

This isn't helpful or constructive in any way, shape or form. If ZoS is going to use mounts and visual appeal for different mount skins to make a profit in this game, then they would be very wise to heed the concerns of their potential customers. If so many people strongly dislike the appearance of saddle bags on their mount, then it's only natural for them to suggest a change. And it sounds to me like nobody on this thread will be spending money anytime soon on a horse simply because they unknowingly altered the appearance of every mount they own.

Saddlebags should be more like snug-fitting satchels, not bulky bags that would bounce around and annoy the poor horse!

I'd like an option to customise my look entirely, including fully bareback. I'd really like Basil to be able to ride his nightmare bareback, no tack - they are mutual friends, not rider and slave.

Couldn't agree more - I luckily hadn't put enough into the bag space option before the change to have those hideous bags visible, and I will now concentrate purely on speed and stamina, but it's a shame that has to be the case....

People were complaining about it ALL missing lol! I was one of those that had that glitch, though I didnt complain about it on the forums (weird right? lol) but it was because everything was missing not just the stupid backpacks. Which is what they are. Backpacks. On a horse.

Also, before the glitch it was whichever 2 highest were shown so I strategically had more in speed and stamina and one point less in inventory and it wasn't a problem. Then when they fixed it all of a sudden all 3 were there. Just put it back to the way it was and all will be good.

Back when we had seperate horses, the bags were good as I had horses just for pack space, and then ones for speed for questing. So, I would know what horse I had by just looking at it when I called it.

Now I would like to be able to pick and choose which of the upgrade graphics I want to see. I don't hate the bags personally, they could be better though.

I think this is the most important issue we are facing in Tamriel. Glad someone took the time to create a thread. I also want to be able to turn off the flames for my nightmare horse. Makes it hard to stealthly ride around Cyrodiil.

That's just silly. Everyone knows you can just ride the nightmare coarser over a river to put out the flames for stealth mode
