Error 1032

I had some trouble installing the latest patch and now i want to repair ESO but after it checked 100% it started to actually repair for a few seconds then i get the error 1032 OSerror_locked one or more files are in use.
I looked everywhere in process explorer and NOTHING related to ESO is open except the launcher.
If i try and press play after this proces the game crashes with an error 11.
Please help i dont want to download the entire game again.

I tried restarting my computer and started the launcher again. Now its stuck around 80% on updating

Restarted computer AGAIN... now it works??

Same issue here, repaired, restarted etc... I've come to learn it doesn't matter and that every patch, update and hotfix I have uninstall and reinstall or it also crashes every 5-10 minutes. They're too worried about desert kissed outfits than fixing issue, y'all should know this by now.

Having the same issue. Guess I'll have to just hope it sorts itself out. Have checked everything else.

I got the same error about the lock files. I do NOT repair and just restarted my computer. Ever since then, I have trouble logging in and staying connected since last patch. (Today's Patch [04/12/2016])

Sure enough fixed itself. I let the repair run while I went to do errands. Same error msg "file in use" when I came back. Restarted my pc a second time and let the launcher update for the 4th time and it worked finally.
