IN COMBAT......OUT OF COMBAT...FIX PLEASE!!

Its ridiculous. I ran all the way from bleakers to alswell in combat without engaging one enemy. I tried /stucking multiple times only to be told I was somehow back in combat standing in the middle of bleakers with noone else around..nothing going on. This is seriously broken. If healing places you in combat I guess shadow walker set means you're screwed. FIX IT...CMON!..PLEASE!!

Because I use structured entropy I'm stuck in combat for 1m+ almost every life after I die, just sitting there spamming in and out of stealth trying to use the wayshrine. At least make it so you can use wayshrines in combat if you can't fix this dumb combat bug.

When I was in Bleakers..downstairs I was "In combat"..i ran upstairs and "left combat' and /stucked it..press E" I agreed to go to a safe place"..waiting......waiting....waiting.....ok its happening.."In combat"...I run back downstairs..."Left combat"..rinse repeat..rinse repeat. I never did get to /stuck.

hitting a sorc and them bolting away across the map keeps you stuck in combat.

being near combat then retreating keeps you stuck in combat.

attacking, fighting, then sneaking away keeps you stuck in combat.

its... a very frustrating bug. It prevents people from using mounts, and makes it VERY frustrating for stealth oriented players.

It needs fixing already. Once ZOS can stop breaking quests with every weekly patch, this should be their next fix.

heck i can even be killed in battle, respawn at a keep, and still be "in combat"

Yesterday, I was just running along towards a keep and I kept going in and out of combat every so often. I would only remain in combat for 3-4sec at a time. I actually want to know how to reproduce this bug so I can at least get out of combat once in a while...

Yesterday I got stuck in combat at the Elsweyr gate stuck in combat. I logged in and was in a field near Brindle. I immediately did /stuck so I could feed my horse and clean my inventory before battle, but when I tried to use the wayshrine to join the fight it said I was stuck in combat. I fought no one, and wasn't in a group. This is terrible.

Agree with the OP. This needs fixing, and not trying to derail, but the stutter when someone joins/leaves the raid is back. This was fixed for months. I have no idea how this was allowed to happen again. C'mon ZoS. You fixed it once already and it's been happening again since 1.6 went live. ROFL seriously?

Getting out of combat is sort of like our version of getting an NES game to play (i.e. blowing on the cartridge, etc), and everyone has some different anecdotal tale of how to get it fixed.

Personally, I weapon swap twice, hit escape four times, then weapon swap twice again. I repeat this ad nauseum until it works because WTF else am I going to do as I run to the objective.

This happened to me when I was using a magicka build because of Sap Essence, and it basically happened all the time.

The idea behind no mounting while in combat is to keep us from cheezing out of a fight, we understand that. Just give is a cast time to mount while in combat if that's what you're worried about. @ZOS plz.

Should be able to mount anytime.

There is already penalties and counters to mounted players.
