All the memes in the world won't change it. They seem to thrive on keeping people in the dark, even over something as minor as a patch or estimated downtime.
Dev teams usually don't post patch notes in advance to avoid tipping off people when potential exploits and other bugs that weren't public knowledge. Or causing mass panic induced binges that cause other disastrous things to the servers. I usually find it amusing when game communities actually seem offended by that idea or notion. Not offended. Pointing out that threads like this won't get you what you want. As for other games, I do play several and they do post them well in advance of downtime. But that is not the case here, so I wouldn't get in a tissy, meme or otherwise, over not getting them.0 -
