Is there a list someone can link me, that describes all the hardcaps in ESO. For example, would it be possible for me to just have full nirnhoned armor, or would some type of cap make that inefficient?
There is no cap to the armor or spell resistance you can have, but there is a hard cap to how much damage can be mitigated and that is 50% so any more armor or spell resistance will do nothing.
As far as I know there are only caps to spell resist and armour. You can have only 50% mitigation of the incoming damage through it and this value is reached with 32,500 armour/spell resist. You can have more, but it wont mitigate more dmg.
I know that this should seem like common sense, but critical strike chances are capped at 100%. As to my knowledge, there are no caps below that logical cap of 100%.
I think the o only reason why someone would go over the 32500 armor or spell resist value is if an enemy (pvp) afflicted Major Fracture or Major Breach and still wanted to maintain the mitigation cap.
