Best Place to Find a Belt to Steal?

I'm trying to get the Indecent Exposure achievement; its easy enough to find most armor pieces to steal (markets are a good example), however I'm finding it difficult to locate belts. Anyone know a good place to loot one?

Yeah that was my last piece to get as well. Basically I just had to try my luck with random crates. I think wayshrining out and back will reset your containers after you do a pass.

Crates and other containers are your best bet. Belts are never used as display pieces, that I've seen, anyway.

So, the old farming grounds, Wayrest's bank and castle, Vulkel Guard Bank, and places like that are probably your best bets.

I found a belt in rawk in a trunk. Just keep looking, its a pain to find but it'll show up.

Upper level of the inn in Daggerfall. Had to Wayshrine out and back to reset the empty.

I managed to get the achievement with everything except the belt stolen.

You dont need a belt to complete achievement. Ive got that achievement on PTS with only 6 armor slots filled. Maybe even 5 will be sufficient since armor passives count "full armor" from just 5 pieces.

Check the inns. I had to search the inns & palaces of 4 cities before I found one.

What is everything? Only armor slots (not counting offhands and jewelry)? I have tested with all armor slots (without any belt, jewelry or shields) and got no achievement.

I have just got it and I can confirm you need the belt for the achievement to popup. Also, I did not use any costume, just in case.

Yep. Tested it too. You need belt to do this achievment. It works only with 7/7 stolen items.

reapers march there is always one in a cupboard in rawkhla (?) in the waxing crescent inn (or whatever its called!) in the 2nd story part

You do not need a belt for the achievement as of April 9. Just got the achievement with everything other than the belt slotted.

When you're crouched for stealth, you'll notice there's all these belt buckles wandering past at eye level. Getting them off is similar to lockpicking, so apply those quick fingers and soon you'll find what you're looking for.

I haven't seen a single belt in any type of container.

PS I found I needed 7/7 for the achievement to trigger also.

I just did it today and did need the belt.

Luckily I found one in a dresser somewhere. Then I ran to the nearest armor vendor and robbed him blind.

Did you "need' the belt? Did you try without and fail?

Just curious because there are some people here who said they got it and needed the belt and did not clarify if they tried without.

My mate found a belt and got the achievement.

I was getting bored as I could not find a belt anywhere, although I was looking exactly where he found his belt, so I tried to get the achievement with 6 armor slots filled (no jewelry) and I got no achievement with 6 armor parts only.

After a very long search I was on a ship where some baskets had armor parts in them. I started to log out and log in again and the armor parts in the baskets changed every time i relogged. After the 20th relog I finally found a belt.

With all 7 armor parts (no jewelry) I got my bounty and went to a guard and got the achievement. The first try with only 6 armor parts did not work.

There are two achievements BTW. One is getting caught and having a piece of gear removed, one is for all gear in all armor slots. The people who said they got the achievement without the belt obviously only got the single achievement not both.

Just tested this out... I can 100% confirm that you CAN get the achievement WITHOUT the belt BUT you MUST have a stolen SHIELD equipped. I thought about it and checked the woodworking table... the shields are listed as APPAREL. So I thought I would try it and BAM got the trophy.

I just tried it with 6 pieces of armor (except the belt) and a shield and did not get the achievement. Only with 7 pieces (including belt, without shield) did I get the achievement.

I got it without the belt accidently (got caught stealing stuff while looking for a belt) i had stolen weapons equipped if that matters?

If the new posts were anything more than reiterations of the stuff from April, I'd probably be more forgiving. I've still got a question of, "how many of these players who get it without the belt are actually just getting the version where you need to lose one equipped item?"

I accidentally got caught without a belt and it didn't unlock the indecent exposure achievement, twice, so I'm not sure what was happening a few months ago.

I just tried this, it did not work. I got the Disrobed Discipline achievement but not Indecent Exposure.
