If they do that might as well polish up the old resume because this game will be closing up shop.

This is a rather silly question/comment ppl keep making not just you. I don't like the boring, endless, monotonous, mind numbing, questing or grinding to be v14 and equivalent to most other pvpers in cyro. I like pvp this means I do like mmos even though i DONT like the leveling from v1 to v14. Once you do it once why as a paying subscriber should we have to do it again and agian. It is more likely to make me leave than stay.
than this game is not for you with the implemented 1440 vet ranks the CPs system resembles ...
If you think v1 to v14 feels endless... How About 0 CP to 3200 CP. Its 1000x The latter
That is true, however at V14 I can do all the end game stuff, at V1 I can't do much of anything so the cp may take longer but at least i will be able to enjoy the end game stuff with everyone else and not bore myself to death with these horrid quest zones that they have.
I am wondering when Veteran levels will be removed from the game? I feel that the game is broken and unplayable right now because I don't want to level to V14 only to have it taken away from me when they decide to remove Veteran levels. I have not played the game in a month or two because all of my characters are at max level of 50 (currently V1). I think they really dropped the ball by dropping 1.6 before taking out Veteran levels. If they plan on removing it then they should just allow us to skip to V14 when we reach lvl 50 and be done with it while they are waiting to take it away, to me the game would actually be playable then.

No it's because PC accounts that are being copied to console have VR chars so unless it's removed from PC prior it has to be on console too
Also no where was it ever suggested from ZOS that removing VR levels is dropping people to 50. ZOS did say the VR exp conversion to cp points was part of the VR being phased out.

Ya it doesnt matter. If they do this its bankruptcy and layoffs to follow. So while they still insist thats the "plan" it isnt ever going to happen.
Yes the leveling takes forever to get from V1 to V14 and is absolutely pointless, which makes the game zero fun for me. Until they fix this I will not be playing this game anymore, which sucks because I really enjoy the game.
I don't understand you people who feel that they shouldn't have to level up a character since they already did it once. You want to make another character? Then you have to go through the same thing you did with your first.
What is wrong with is world? Everyone's always trying to get to the top without having to do the work to get there.
I spent years getting my black belt in a form of martial arts called Kenpo. I want to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu now, but you know what? Since I'm already a black belt in Kenpo I think you should just give me that black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Oh, I can't do that? Ok then, I just won't play anymore...
Give me a break!

Something needs to be done about it. Its asking too much to grind to vr14. It is too much time invested to get max level.
I am perfectly fine with grinding. I LOVE grinding, and if it was just grinding cp I do that, but when I need my daily and can't find a group for my alt (or my main when I was leveling vr) or do a trial it makes the grind very frustrating.

I agree with you @LordSkyKnight but I don't think it's to keep you paying. It's to give you a purpose.
Everyone needs a purpose - in life and in-game. If I snapped my fingers and was suddenly vr14, I'd still have to complete the gold quest line. After that? Go for the achievements. After that? Max my CPs (3200? 3600? a bunch no matter how you look at it!). THAT will take years (for me, at least). After that? Who knows. We'll be on update 3.2 by then and there will be new things to do.
That's what I don't understand about people that just want to RUSH to the level cap. And... then whatcha gonna do? Sit in forums and complain that there's nothing to do? There's plenty to do, but you have to open your eyes a little bit first.
