Personally if I had to decide between those two I'd go for the guar, the fire horse is a bit overdone for my tastes (in this game anyway).PC EU player | She/her/hers | PAWS (Positively Against Wrip-off Stuff) - Say No to Crown Crates!

I personally use the fiery horsey, but it is really funny in PvP seeing a few people in a raid on guars and spanking them to go faster hehe.Once I was a lamb, playing in a green field. Then the wolves came. Now I am an eagle and I fly in a different universe.

✭✭✭✭I am a bit of a lore spaz. I have the guar on one account, but only use it for folks in EP.
I was worred that they were going to drop the cheapest in-game horse in 1.6, so I bought it, but only one character rides it (goblin girl [bosmer template] and she calls it "big brown horse").
I'm still holding out for a Wamasu mount. Broken Branch Toothmaul (my "goblin" girl's name) wants to ride a Durzog.Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis0 -

If ask you what mount I think is best i would personal say i like Striped Senche mount best that we got as last loyal reward for i think the mount fit to most class.
But if I have choose between fiery horse and guar only it depand on what class i'm playing with for i think fiery horse look on Sorcerer i tihnk it is very fitting but guar feel more like Nightblade to me for i have a hard time see Dragon Knight or Templar in full plate on guar but this ofc only what i personal feel.

And who knows what mounts will show up in the crown store in due time... We have ample horses now, and some guar, more guar and senche for everyone are said to be coming soon, but they won't stop there. A Durzog might be entirely possible. As might be a direwolf. Camels would fit well for all our redguard friends too. I wouldn't be surprised if we also got deer or elk mounts, maybe also giant spiders or wammasu, perhaps even unicorns which may not be all that lore-conform, but could easily be explained by some daedric prince having a joke (yes, I am casually glancing in your direction, uncle sheo...). In time those may show up. Now... the dwemer sphere rebuilt into a segway style mount, that one I'd not be so sure about...
