Point me in the right Direction?

Hey all,

I am new to ESO, and would love it if I could get a few suggestions on some guilds I could join. Currently I am playing as a Level 11 Breton in the Daggerfall Covenant, and I plan to mainly just play for the fun of it. Whether that means PVE, PVP or whatever, as long as I am having a good time with some friends. That sounds perfect to me.

Furthermore, not sure if this is asking a lot but I would prefer that the age range would be in the late twenties. Namely because it would simply be nice to place with people the same age as me. (Who would completely understand/relate when work, family and life would come in the way.)

Thanks in advance!

@DJ Jack Welcome to ESO! Feel free to check out Defilers of Molag Bal. We're a social guild and we have quite a few lower level people that have recently joined/returned to ESO in our ranks as well as plenty of veteran characters. http://defilersofmolagbal.guildlaunch.com/ is our website. If you are interested please apply there and if you have questions you can connect with me here @Athas24 or in game under the same handle. We are primarily a Pact based guild but being lv 11 you have plenty of ability to roll another toon alongside that one you have there if you cared to. We do have some DC and AD members but we're probably 90% Pact based. Simply for the sake of doing group stuff because the game doesn't allow cross faction dungeon runs etc.
Well, happy guild hunting and once again, welcome to ESO!

There are a few types of Guilds.

    1. Social formed for the purposes of hanging out in the game, most guilds follow this. These guilds can do a mix of everything or just focus on PvE, Trials or PvP
    2. PvP Guilds that are focused on the Alliance War. Your in these guilds to go to Cyrodiil and fight
    3. Trials Guilds, these are focused on completing the Trials Dungeons for competitive times.
    4. Trading Guilds, not much for social interaction, but they focus on getting a guild kiosk. Note, most guilds have a guild store, and a kiosk is not required to sell, it just gives you more customers
    5. RP Guilds These are the people who play a role in the game. You can see them clustered together in towns or other places having conversations that might seem bizarre to you, but make sense to them.

I think people should have 1 or 2 trading guilds, one or two social guilds and if your into RP, PvP or Trials, a guild or two for that.

If you want to join a general purpose fun social guild that does just about everything, but does not require you to do anything but be helpful and nice, then look into Lone Wolf Help. We are made for the person who wants to solo most of the time, but needs some help like with a quest or crafting or running dolmens or dungeons. We also do event nights for various things and dabble in PvP and Trials too. Send me a message in game to @Nestor and I can get you on with the Pack.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    Thanks for the suggestions @Nestor & @Athas24!

I in particular like the suggestion of joining multiple guilds. Guess I really need to figure out what I really want to get out of the game. @_@ And how many characters I want to have. Most guilds seem to lean towards the other two factions.

Eventually you'll explore all the factions @DJ Jack once you do Cadwell's Silver and gold. My suggestion would be to try a few guilds and see what you like from each along the way, drop what you don't like and keep what you do! :) Save spots for at least 2 trade guilds though.
