Suggestion: Option to leave campaigns

derek.simon00ub17_ESO
With multiple characters on multiple factions I've had a lot of difficulty finding the campaign I like with each faction due to the cooldown on switching campaigns. Simply put it would've saved me a lot of time (especially leveling due to the cyrodill xp buffs) if i could simply leave a campaign as opposed to switching them. Not to mention its impossible to have a vet character on each faction and have then in a guest and home campaign, which is seriously limiting, being that there's only 4 vet campaigns. So by setting my vet ad char and vet ep char to 2 separate campaigns (home, guest) I have effectively locked out my vet dc characters from anything cyrodill related. To fix this the only solution is to set your current home campaign to guest or vice versa on a given character which takes a considerable amount of time with the cooldowns and wouldn't if you could simply leave them, pretty simple. The option to leave a campaign or unguest has been asked for quite a bit.. don't hold your breath. I find it's actually worse now with alts as it costs 5k to move camp at the end whereas before it was free.

Yea but why not.. what's the counterargument to this

I agree, that would make things a lot more user friendly

I'd like to know why it costs anything at all to change at the end of a campaign. I don't see the point at all of that. Not that it matters...my main character is in EP on the EU server, and its an uphill battle in every campaign anyway except the non vet one.

I think it should be possible to avoid being locked back into a campaign automatically. Surely it should be an option whether ot not that's what you want to do.
Ask not what your sweetroll can do for you....

The only thing I can think of as to why there is a cooldown at all on being locked out is to avoid factions from giving away information to the others. This logic is immediately defeated as their are numerous ways to share that same information without swapping campaigns. Such as in-game chat, out of game chat, and the like. The cost thing has no real reasoning behind it either, not that I can see anyways, maybe to discourage people from hopping around from campaign to campaign to keep the populations more consistent? Well as far as i'm concerned that's pointless, here on the US servers, a competitive campaign is nonexistent. They are all dominated by one faction or another. If zen wants to prevent such behaviour they should eliminate the buffs cyrodill gives entirely and then I imagine entire factions wouldn't be as motivated to simply outnumber the other two. Changing campaigns is ridiculously tedious. I can understand the need to prevent cheating, but there are easier ways to prevent that

Actually I think it's unpreventable if u read my last comment. If someone really wants to cheat. It's really, really easy
